I think strange and funny things happen in Wal Mart stores. Here is my story. Tell me yours.
Several months ago, my husband and I were in the auto center of a Super Walmart store asking about new tires for my car. My husband and I were the second people in line. When the clerk finished with the person in front of us we told her what tires we were looking for. The clerk exited out the door to the service center to talk with one of the techs to make sure they had enough of the tires I needed.
The clerk was gone a couple of minutes. In the mean time, one gentleman had come up behind us with his cart full of bagged groceries. There was another gentleman in line behind him. All of us were patiently waiting for the clerk to return.
All the sudden, a loud, hispanic female with fluffy hair and tons of jewelry adorning her ears and wrists, tromps into the auto center. The woman says, "What is taking so long. She (referring to the clerk) should be in here waiting on people, what kind of service is this?"
The woman stomps past the two gentlemen, me, and my husband. She begins to bang on the window that looks out into the service area. As she is banging on the window (quite hard I might add) she is screaming at the clerk, “hurry up and get in here, you have customers to wait on! “ Her mouth is going ninety to nothing as the clerk steps back in and stands behind the counter.
The woman begins berating the clerk for not being there to wait on her customers. By this time my husband, myself and the two gentlemen are all looking at one another in dismay. I casually mentioned to the woman that the clerk had been helping us and had only been gone a couple of minutes to check on some tires. The woman says ignorantly, “Oh.” She proceeds to the counter and has the clerk check her out. The rest of us are all standing there dumbfounded because she has now cut in line in front of everyone. After the clerk checks her out the woman turns and sees the gentleman with the cart full of bagged groceries. She says, “Since when is this a checkout line for groceries? He can’t check these out here. You have all these other people to wait on. He has too much stuff!” We all looked at her and said, “His groceries are bagged, he has already paid for them!” Again, she says, “Oh”, turns and walks away. We were all left standing there shaking our heads.

What a bad experience you had. :(
It must! They have even had shootings in the parking lot of a Super Walmart that is a town south of here.
My Wal-Mart experience (the bad ones) are usually caused by the employees and not the customers, though.
I don't remember everything but I know once I was there for an oil change and I waited 7 hours for it. I would have been better off paying double the price at ANY oil change station or gas station.....
My bad experience with Walmart:
I wanted to try the 10k white gold earrings, and the clerk told me it's not allowed to try the earring since they do not have alcohol to clean them. Isn't walmart selling that 70% alcohol for like 80cents a bottle, and I won't need the whole bottle to clean the earrings. I was not in a mood to go to talk to her manager, so I walk away. For a bit far aisle, I saw the sign: "Free Ear Piercing For Every Gold Earring Bough". How could they do that without any cleaning alcohol? I think that hispanic employee just didn't want to give any service to me for whatever reason.
