I have read of this before and not in my own posts. Something about Carter ordering a cap put on a big find in the Alutians in 79 and giving 2 oil rich islalnds in the chain to Russia.

In his presentation he holds up and recommends the book "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man" by John Perkins ... if one reads that, and I have, they will learn an awful lot more about how so much fits together that we do not hardly ever hear about.

Astounding news. It can and must be investigated at once, and for safety sake of all the persons revealing this 'block-buster' news, this possible truth must be gotten into the news (and investigative analytic agencies of government and commercial labs) as soon as possible AND as quickly and broadly as possible. Let the chips fall where they may!

My first step was to go to GOOGLE and to see if there was any news, etc about Lindsey Williams. KEY SEARCH WORDS='Lindsey Williams'. There were many such entries including the YouTube refs in the article you cited. I've so far just touched on the reading and watching of them.

Jerry, I haven't read your article yet, but have thought about this a lot. I've also thought about the fact that our country could bail out Chrysler yet let all the farmers lose their farms. Our toys (which probably caused me to question this all) being made overseas and coming in with dangerous toxins, and again, the toy manufacturers are not here now, they are overseas, and the oil, and the restructuring of seeds, we are so dependent on others outside this country, and our businesses can not support the people who need to work here, I just can't help but wonder are the powers that be making us so helpless on purpose, and for what reason? If we can't continue to pay taxes and work and we can't buy homes and goods and services, what is the point in breaking us? A poor country will never stand equial in the world, let alone be a leader. Are they giving America up and we just don't know it yet? I just have to wonder where this is leading us. And in the meantime we are not even good to each other. Not everybody, I shouldn't make a blanket statement. But too many Americans can go out and murder people to rob them or just to be hateful or whatever their reason, and the way people are treated in prison is a big part of it. We lock people up and then let anything happen to them. That is not right. I guess I should stop. I didn't really mean to go on a tirade, but it all goes together to me. Thanks for posting the link. Dick, I am thankful that you have noticed some of the major implications that this could have on some of the thinking and policies in this nation ... AND THE WORLD even. What you mention about the possible affect that X-number of years of hydro carbon additions to the earths atmosphere may have and how that could affect Global warming ... and the delays in alternative energy use are important considerations and very worth investigating and pursuing where ever that may take us ...


BUT ... I believe that the REAL STORY that hides in this, is so much more sinister than most would imagine ... and if it became known by more people it would cause great chaos in our world ... which I think may be coming anyway ... so let us at least base it upon the REAL TRUTHS of what has been going on.

That REAL TRUTH though, which underlies this "news" and so much more, is just too big and important to THE POWERS involved, to be let known AT ANY COST, and that means the actual lives of many people.

Just some of what underlies this, is what is exposed in John Perkins book mentioned ... the expose of how the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) operate in the world taking advantage of third world countries ... and the very nasty and covert ways they do it ... one of the largest reasons for the attitudes of terrorists around the world. Far more people in the rest of the world are more aware of these things than the pablum media fed to the American public would allow us to know ...

Yet ALL WE NEED to know IS AVAILABLE for those that are truly interested, for those that would want real truth, something we will never get form our own SYSTEM of MSM (main stream media) "NEWS" ... That basic truth is that we are all so lied to and manipulated by the POWERS THAT BE ... the upper (very highest, board of director types) level corporate heads who shun notoriety and operate behind the shadows of the THINK TANKS they have funded to plan for them long range and advise them of the things they need to know to execute such plans for maximum long term advantage FOR THEM often at the expense of countless others taken advantage of ... and THAT SYSTEM employs the Public Relations methods and businesses to put a friendly picture on the front of it all to make us think that these are just good common sense business practises that everyone uses in marketplace competition which they will claim are really relatively honest, straight forward and benign overall, in no way criminal because they just would never do anything that far out of line ... and the populace should NEVER ALLOW such UNfounded accusations TO BE EVEN CONSIDERED ...which they will CLAIM are completely false and just concoctions of anarchists and radical Leftwing moonbats ...

It is always the presentation of the "best aspects of the social system", level headed intelligent professionals that "Really Know" what is going on that should be believed ... never should we pay any mind to those in THE FRINGE (like investigative reports and a few documentaries) ... SO THE LINE GOES.

Those of us, that these people in the shadows NEED to cover their nefarious ways, are just the average conservative leaning American that PREFERS to believe that their leadership are on the whole just like them with good intentions for the betterment of the nation overall, just going about the normal and healthy way of good business on the world stage ... that secrets are just common "competitive edge" requirements that are use and needed by all ... simple, clean and straight forward, END OF STORY !

That is what they have worked out and it works out very well for them so far ... their apologists rain down scorn upon any who would suggest even a hint at foul play (ooh those "Conspiracy Theories" again ... snicker snicker in ridicule) and such peer pressure keeps the bulk in line, preferring to "buy" the more "digestible" version (the "sanitized" story) of things ... they think it will allow them to be both more patriotic (compared to those dirty anti-establishment types that are always presented in the worst possible light by the "Free and Honest" media) ... plus to buy the "better" version allows you to sleep better at night THINKING that everything is alright ...


SO ... YES ... IT IS PAST TIME for the people to come to terms with what has been really going on in their name ... we are all to blame at least some small amount for just TRUSTING the people at the top to do right by us ... IT IS TIME to find out the REAL TRUTH. IMnsHO.

Lynn, I feel for your concerns, never think that you are alone in having them. More and more people all of the time are beginning to face up to the nasty truth of the ever more deteriorating state of our world in all of it's problems seeming to be coming to some kind of a head ... I believe they are, and it will be very trying times for many, but we will all come out on the other side of it all with a much better future all around IF we go about seeking real truth concerning everything ... we must begin to question more what is being done in the world under our name by our "government" ... a government that has become very corrupted by K-Street Money.

I have just spent about two and a half hours bopping around (1) the eight YouTube videos of Williams and (2) the three YouTube videos of Perkins. I agree with you that the linking of the oil issue to the new technologies is not nearly as important as the 'sinister' further implications that Williams talked about in some detail, and the even more deep issues presented by Perkins.

While I think that attention to the issues of the complex roles provided by Williams relating to the IMF and the World Bank, and to Kissinger's role in 'stage setting' of a sort of deep USA long-range plan, was (and is) very important to digest and to place into a broad perspective, the commentary by Perkins relating to Corporatocracy as a problem with which we must cope was of at least of equal concern to me. My mind drifted to notions of bounded interests and basic smart illogic.

Overall -- as I see those two perspectives impacting our need for reform in the governmental sectors and the worldwide corprate sectors, I am surmising that the REAL problem lies in the utilization of inadequate human logics based essentially on a far less than adequate knowledge and understanding of our (yours and my) favorite topic: HUMAN VALUES that must be further developed in order to guide human conducts on our in-danger PLANET.. Conspiracy for me is a result of an INADEQUATE logical-moral MODEL with which to operate. That is the problem of greatest concern as we all face the future. Immoral actions are a derivative from a lack of proper theological ideas.

When (and if) we can learn how to think and feel properly about our INFINITE GOD and us FINITE PERSONS and link those categories to VISIONS of emerging FUTURES ON EARTH, we will find (I believe) a path to WORLD PEACE, and RESPECT for ALL PERSONS, and APPROPRIATE visions that will revolutionize OUR EARTH (and nations) and ALL HUMAN PLANS and ACTIONS.

In short, guys and gals like many here in the gather family must pay attention to government and social and business designs, but FAR MORE to the explication (the role of INFINITE meanings) in our emerging futures. Understandings, GOOD will and (a more complete) COMMON SENSE, must come to dominate the grave issues that lie ahead and MUST BE ADDRESSED and SOLVED by WISE leaderships all over the GLOBE.

I think the question then comes down to how can we get the people to take the time to question a bit deeper into what makes up our perceived "reality" ... and just who has been "building" that reality for us and why.

We are all, at least most people who are not yet enjoying their retirement, working, commuting, recreating, and occasionally attempting to get some sleep ... just too damn busy just trying to keep up let alone get ahead, to really have the free time to read and dig into the deeper truths that cause us to live as hectically as we do ...

It all comes down to a type of philosophy ... something the leaders of the world know a whole lot more about than the average person and made to work best for those leaders through the various institutions designed to make that happen.

It is the philosophy of divide and conquer from the top down that is in direct conflict with the desires of the bottom up to be treated with honesty and fairness ... we are told to (do what we all wish and hope we could and should), to trust our leaders to take care of us and NOT take more than their FAIR portion of the profits ...

The higher philosophy that we need is that of a Spirituality INvolving a common and loving God that has Spiritual representation right here active amongst us all, each and every being connected that way ... the biggest problem then being that because of our indoctrination to be dualists that base our thinking on the extremes of "good" and "evil" (or bad), we are all programmed to pick what we think best and reject the other completely ... we are seldom cautioned to inspect closely the total package and maybe find something worthwhile in that closer to a central compromise of opposites ... thus everything has become based upon quick decisions between extremes and much easier and quicker to make those decisions ... or to just trust others who supposedly already know and ask us to chose what they do (supposedly for our own good).

Just like the time it takes to watch the suggested video clips, it is not very much ... but whatever it takes, times 8, probably scares many off ... many just are not really interested all that much in the state of our world because they just do not feel the hurt all that much yet. Not to mention the fact that most may feel that they personally are ineffective in making any changes anyway ... so I suppose in the end we all really get just what we deserve ... a whole lot less than we should IF we cared a bit more ...

Who knows Dick, maybe someone will listen enough to have a seed take sprout and eventually things will begin to turn around ... actually I think that there is a massive movement underway for human enlightenment ... it is in the very air we breath ... so keep breathing everyone ...

I've heard this for some time, and believe it completely. However, I believe that the best course for humankind at this time is to move away from fossil fuels and towards renewable, alternative energy sources. It's going to require a massive paradigm shift, of course, since the entire world's economic systems are based on the trading of fossil fuels, but it's what's necessary.

The way I see it all playing out (potentially) as per "the" plan ... is for the the west, especially America, to be charged for such energy (fossil fuels) at ever inflated rates until we INSIST that something be done to give us some relief (this all being a part of the 'master' plan) at which point we will have paid exorbitant prices and be relatively used to it ... so that we will not flinch too much when they (the 'powers') charge us similar, probably even higher prices for the replacement energy ... which they have already worked out and are just holding it back until the opportune time ... they will tell us though that we will have to pay more because they will say that they will have to discover/research/test/manufacture/ etc/etc/etc ... but by 'then' we will be eager to pay almost anything to get some long term relief ...

Then those replacement systems will be sold to all of us that can afford them with great profits going to the very same people at the top who are already raking it in via the present oil/power system ... America will then specialize in this "new" technology and sell it here and around the world for those that could afford it ... the very rich possibly in other lands where in places such as India and China everyone will just be following in our own footsteps down the fossil fuel path ... maybe by then utilizing anti-pollution systems also sold by us ...

As for these Alaska oil fields, as was said in the videos, they are for later when the existing known fields have been properly "milked" for maximum dollar ... and we must remember what is behind much of the present turmoil, the threat of too many OPEC nations and others going away from the USDollar as the "standard" of energy value ...

It is all very complicated in the details and the potentialities of how it may come down, but our very best funded multi-national corporate think tanks are preparing all possible expected contingency plans so that they will be ready to act no matter what ... and they will most likely engineer the way in which they prefer it happen ... given their way, we will never be the wiser ... business as usual.

Thank you for the link, it is dynamite stuff and fits right in with all the things I am studying right now. We are the underlings. Next step, when they are sure there won't be a revolt, (or at least as little "inconvenient" resistance as possible, they will go for the post industrial revolution (for global warming, environmental concerns of course) and we will all be third world "workers" confined to our assigned human habitats without "luxuries" (like cars, appliances) that leave a "carbon footprint". The rest of the world, and its resources, will be theirs.
