The weeping birch is really yellow now. I figured I'd better take a few shots before the wind comes up and blows every leaf off the tree.
Almost totally yellow now this tree will soon have bare branches.

Here's a shot showing the contrast between the birch and the spruce.

The neighbors alder maple or what ever it is . Isn't as pretty this year. Most trees in Ellensburg lean due to the frequent wind here.

There is not a trace of snow this morning, not on cars nothing! The sun is bright and the sky is clear and if I did not know better it could be 60-70 degrees out--I know it is not I can feel the cold on the exterior wall.

Yesterday was 42-26 before 5: PM I think! That's New England!
I walked the Beagles this mid-day and only a few trees had continued to brighten in color or begin to change yet, more than 2 dozen had dropped all leaves. Oaks and Maple both are bare or faintly colored! Hummm!
Maybe I will post some of today's photos and a few from last Autumn.
