Rain and the Spiders Web

I think a spiders web is so beautiful with rain, dew,  or frost on it. The following photos were taken   from my backyard on October 13th , 2009.

They are of Beatrice's web. You may remember the photos of the spider I named Beatrice. I posted an article on her September 21st. She was making a meal of a  yellow jacket. She and Freda ( Ain't She Sweet September 10th ) are gone now but the web belonging to Beatrice is still mostly intact.

Now lets look at the beautiful web, now decorated with raindrops that  Beatrice has left  . Resembling strands of silvery beads I can't help but find this abandoned web beautiful.

You got some great shots. I too love the look of spider webs when there is dew or rain on them. Spider webs are just amazing no matter how you look at them.

nice captures, I love to see rain on spider webs, sad thing is there are not many spiders this year I found only two and then they vanished :(
