My Yard She is a Changing

Just a few shots taken in my backyard.

The leaves on the  Mountain ash are just starting to change.

On the south side several bunches of it's berries have cobwebs all over them.

The apples are ready to eat. I always leave a few on the tree as a treat for the birds.

These leaves on the flowering plum will turn bright red just before they fall off.

The weeping birch is rapidly turning yellow, there are a few branches that are already bare.

Our mountain ashes are usually glorious! Not so this year. The grossbeaks will be disappointed!

Ahhh I think you really do have fall there. We're working on it. Yesterday was a muggy nasty 82ish but today's four trillion tons of rain have kept the temp in the 60s. No sign of fall color, though.

Good shots again Vivian, Our trees have hardly began to turn. We have about two inches of snow on the ground and green trees. looks strange.
