Sometimes it seems that our dogs enjoy camping more than we do. We make it a point to find a large enough spot to have a central spot for the dogs to roughhouse. Although the dogs ages are from almost eleven years to a pup they get along and play well with each other.
The most rambunctious is Blue a Blue Heeler or Australian Cattle Dog pup who is just one big fluffy ball of action. I know what your thinking , gee what an original name for a blue heeler Blue. But he isn't really a true blue color he is what they call a ghost. This guys fur is so think and soft, like an expensive plush toy. It is a pleasure to pet him when he is still enough so you can.

He and the other dogs had a blast running and chasing, twisting and turning. Scooters face in this next shot is priceless. Even being over ten he kept up pretty good I'd say.

Blue and A-Rod slowing down for a minute.

Along with some heavy duty playing comes some real heavy sleeping.

A-Rod isn't yet two and he is a real mommas boy. A much needed companion for my sister in law.

I love watching Autumn and A-Rod play . Here it looks like Autumn is killing him but they are just playing. I have never gotten a shot of A-Rod under Autumns belly snapping at her front legs. The two are just too quick for me.

There is a game of catch at least once a day. All the dogs get involved.

I cropped this shot from the photo above. My Scooter and A-Rod are loving life.
It was so cool one morning that we put sweaters on the smaller dogs. Tawanda doesn't like hers.

A-Rod struts around like he owns the place.

As Tawanda pouts.

In this next shot of the campers just sitting back, you'll notice that Duke a Great Dane mix, is waiting to see the photos on the Kodak Easy Share. A-Rod is of course laid back on moms lap.
