A Great Day to Spend Outdoors!

We had a warm front come thru Wednesday and so in the afternoon it reached somewhere in the low 60's.  I was so happy that I was able to get Maddie outside in the yard to play for awhile.  I hate being cooped up inside, but it has just been too cold to go out. 

Plus we had a bird feeder that we needed to put up in the yard.  Whenever we go to my fathers house Maddie just loves to sit and watch out the window at all the birds at the feeder, so my father gave her a little feeder and a bit of birdseed to fill it up with!   Now we are just waiting for the birdies to find it.

  We got that up, and then we played in the yard for a bit.

Soon after David came out and started raking up some leaves.  Maddie had lots of fun helping him!

While they raked I looked around for things to photograph. 

I saw lots of flowers beginning to sprout out of the ground, but  I was completely surprised to find that we actually had some flowers blooming!!!! 

After that hubby started burning leaves, and it was too much for me with all the smoke, so Maddie and I went on a walk.  I pulled her down the street in the wagon, untill I was worn out, then we came back home.   I didn't take any pics during our walk since there wasn't much to see. 

We had plans to go out and play yesterday too, but mother nature had different plans.  We had rain and thunderstorms all day yesterday so even though the weather was warm, it was too wet to go out and play :(  Today it is back to cold weather again and the weekend is supposed to be even colder.  I can't wait till it warms for good!
