The day was beautiful here today. The sun was out. The temperature was up. I couldn't resist getting my camera out and walking around our property in search of signs of spring. Come with me and see what we can find!
Macro of the first flower I found. I have no idea what it is. It was pretty small. I loved the two bugs I caught on it! See the one on the bottom side too?

Here is a macro of the next little flower we see on our short little nature walk. I love the purple.

I got the idea for these next two shots from Marianne. I commented on a shot she did of a dandelion seed head earlier today. Her shot can be found HERE. I think hers is a much better shot, so check it out. I wanted to try my hand at it.

Macro of another flower in our yard. We have a bunch of these ones. They are very, very small!

There is a ton of clover coming up in our yard this year for some reason. The bunnies are sure loving it! Here's a macro of one of the clover flowers.

All our trees now have leaves on them. Our porch is so lovely to sit on now with the roof of leaves over your head providing shade. Here's a view of one of our Bradford pear trees.

Here is yet another macro of a little flower we see on our way. All of these flowers have been very tiny. I know they don't look it in the photos, but they are small.

My very first butterfly shot - ever! I'm thrilled to death with it. I'll admit that I was only able to get the shot because the butterfly was mating though. LOL You can't see the one underneath it in this shot, but take it from me, it was there. This one flew off three times carrying the other one before I could get a shot. I guess it finally was too tired to fly again. ; )

The last little flower we see on our short walk is photographed here in macro.

I couldn't resist a shot of the field behind our house. Everything is green, and I am loving it. The red grass is what is called "sour grass". I only know that because Rose (just an old GA peach) mentioned it in an article she did the other day. Explains why the kids were eating it the other day!

And last, my very first bug shot of the year! I have no idea what it is. It was sort of freaky looking. It was one of those bugs that seem to "think human thoughts" if you have any idea what I mean. LOL

Hope you enjoyed the little bit of spring I found outside today, and if spring hasn't quite made it where you live yet, don't worry, it is on its' way!
