I don't know how many of you about my obsession with frogs...but yes, I do have an obsession with frogs! HA!! I collect all things frog. They have taken over my house and yard! My mom bought me a ton more frog things for Christmas, because Walgreen's had all there yard stuff at 75% off. She took EVERYTHING frog they had too, so the manager gave her an extra discount. (She said he kept looking at her like she was crazy...HA!)
I took some photos of some of my frog things to share with you all! When I first joined Gather a little over a year ago, I tried to start a 'frog group' as well...I guess there are not a lot of frog lovers out there, but if you happen to like frogs, here's the link to my group too, http://frogfrenzy.gather.com/ It seems like everyone that I have met since moving to Florida hate frogs too!! The tree frogs that we have hanging around a lot can be a little frightening because they sleep in the strangest places, such as in hanging flower baskets, and above doorways, and they will just jump out at you from know where! I can understand how that would be scary. Although they startle me, I still love them.
This first photo is my new favorite, it is the frog prince!! I published this photo already, so some of you may have seen this guy already...

The next four photos are frogs that are hanging out around my pond. The last picture of the two frogs sitting next to each other, were actually found in a garbage pile...my boyfriend spotted them and brought them home for me. I am assuming they got thrown out because the paint was almost completely gone. I think they look fine just as they are. The first three photos, are some of what my mom got me for Christmas.

This next photo is a cute little dish type thing. It says welcome on it. I am not sure what it is supposed to be used for though. It certainly is cute though, so I set it on the table by my back gate.

This next photo is a welcome sign that my mom picked up for me at a flea market. It is made out of some sort of metal...it is one of my favorite frog things.

The birdbath in the next photo, was actually not a birdbath to begin with. I found two vases, that fit on top of one another really well. I filled the bottom one with rocks, and then super glued the other one on top of it. I then super glued a thick glass punch bowl on top of that. In the middle is a little frog that actually connects to a hose, to make a fountain!!

And of course someone who has a frog obsession, has to have a frog tattoo! This photo was taken about a year ago, right after I got it done. You can see that his butt is still white in the photo...it hurt soooo bad that I could not bare it any longer. I still to this day have not gone back to get it finished either. I have had other tattoos, and they did not hurt near as badly as this one. It is on the inside of my ankle, so I am guessing that is a very sensitive spot!!
Those were just a very small sliver of some of my frog things. I have hundreds of frogs,m they are in every room in my house, and every flower bed in my yard! Remember, if you collect frog stuff, or know somebody that does, send them over to my group!!

your tattoo picture did not show up...i would love to see it!
Nice collection, I have trees every where
Our guest bathroom is the real frog pond of the house. The shower curtain, the clasps that hold it up, to trees decorated with them, they are my personal statement. My personal favorites are the crystal frog made for me by a friend who works for Swarovski and the other is an antique pastel art piece that a friend bought for me at an auction.
Nice photo essay.
