As you explore the Speed of Trust group and Gather.com, here are some things you can do right now to get the most out of your experience.
- Jump into the conversation by adding a comment to someone's article. Simply scroll to the bottom of any article, enter your comment in the box provided and click the Post button. You can also rate an article for the quality of its content and writing style.
- Publish images and select one to be your personal icon. Select the publish link in the toolbar at the top of any Gather page and select Publish an Image. Use the Choose File button to find a picture on your computer and then click Upload. You can make any image your member icon by clicking the set as my icon link next to the image.
- Invite members and earn points. Inviting your friends, family and colleagues to the Starbucks Book Break community on Gather makes your community more vibrant. You'll also receive Gather Points (TM) for each member that you invite who joins Gather.
- Stay up-to-date with all the latest news from your groups and connections. To manage your email notification settings, click My Gather in the top toolbar of any Gather page and then click settings in the welcome box where your member icon appears. Place a check in the boxes next to the email notifications you wish to receive.
