This is another post that was inspired by my magazine depleting adventure.
I found this piece in a recent issue of 'Women's Health' magazine and thought it would inspire some discussion.

Carpal tunnel aside, spending time online may actually help your health. According to a Pew Research Center survey, 60 percent of adults look for health information online, and 42 percent say they or someone they know has benefited from the medical advice they came across on a site.
Here's what respondents said they also got from web-based medical info:
60% -- It affected a decision about how to treat an illness or condition
56% -- It altered their overall approach to maintaining their health or the health of a loved one
53% -- It led them to ask a doctor new questions or to get a second opinion
49% -- It changed their thinking about diet, exercise, or stress management
38% -- It affected a decision about whether to see a doctor
38% -- It changed the way they manage a chronic health condition or pain
So, has the internet affected any of your own health/medical concerns?
I know it's affected mine!
