I've been reading a bunch of different websites where people posted the weirdest things they ever ate.. and I got a little curious..

So What's the weirdest thing you ever ate?

Me.. well I don't like anything.. so I wouldn't call anything I ever ate weird.. lol.. I'm not picky by choice.. just by birth.. (Even the tiniest piece of lettuce will make me ... blech ... for example.)

I'm pretty picky but I have had alligator. That was about as adventurous as I get.

I ate a piece of eel once.. yuk! We were camping and my father in law said eel was good to eat... not for me it wasn't.

Susan and Arden -- when faced with some strange food, I find its best not to ask (easy to say, I'm vegetarian now).

wow.. cow brains.. I would probably have thrown up long before I even saw them.. lol.. yuck yuck gross..

A hotdog with canned spinach on it. I think I had an iron deficiency. It hasn't been on my menu since. ;-)

Dog (Korea), snail (escargot), calf brains in scrambled eggs cooked in bacon fat (my mother's kitchen), o'possum (mom's table again), carp (gotta watch them bones), woodchuck (who couldn't chuck wood), and stuff I've forgotten. But the grossest food I've EVER eaten, by far, was fried okra. You wouldn't think it'd still be slimy... but it was.

Balut in the Philippines (fermented duck or chicken embryo...you never sure which), Nuc Mom in Vietnam (a fermented fish sauce the Vietnamese put over rice...when they take that out of the ground and crack it open you can smell it a couple miles away)
