I'm a pack rat so its a good thing I am doing this lol
I've cut way back already and will soon be completely quit.
I haven't actually been to bed yet, ha. I am a night owl tried and true and I still won't be going to bed for another few hours.
Congratulations on kicking your smoking habit! That is a BIG deal and I'm very proud of you.
I was wondering if you'd be able to come to Oregon (just real quick, it won't take long) to clean MY truck out?
YES, Truth is certainly cleansing, for sure!
I am actually agnostic, so I don't pray, not in any kind of formal way anyway. I have my own conversations with a higher power though, and my mom. :o)
Wow - good luck in your quest to quit smoking! I like that you are going through a program because I've heard that cold turkey isn't as effective for some people. I smoked, but only for a few months, after high school. I think I wanted to be 'cool' and could never even figure out how to hold the things right, so I never became addicted. Thank goodness, because both of my natural parents are smokers and are addicted to other things as well. My only addiction at the moment is Coldstone ice cream.
Keep us updated on your progress, please?
You actually shower? Now that is a concept, I may have to try that one sometime.
thanks for stopping in. It is great that scriptures are cleansing to you and I hope one of these days I am able to find some guidance like that.
Since Mother will be coming to Oregon to clean my truck, can you come over too to clean my house? I need a little pre-Spring cleaning too and I figured since you're sick you probably have some extra time on your hands, ha.
Kidding... great job! I need some motivation.
Faith, your comeback to Jeff was truly sublime. Allow me to commend you. Lol!
I try, I try. ;o) Seriously though... I should shower one of these days - it's been weeks.
My mom weeds and gardens too to cleanse herself. She also sorts beads, but I don't really have any hobbies other than taking pictures. A long hot bath sounds great, and my new iJoy chair will probably do the trick as well.
Blessings Faith.
i quit smoking.
i have severed friendships and aquaintances with those who are not edifying and/or supportive to me.
i am much more careful of the amount of negativity i release via my big mouth.
Lately, I have actually been monitoring my phone calls. I don't answer the phone if the person calling is going to drive me insane and I know it. I also don't answer if I know the person is gonna ask me a favor. I know that might sound horrible but I'm tired of doing "favors" when I know the next time they call it will be another "favor".
I'm actually trying to exercise more too. This helps me weed out bad thoughts and feelings. Journaling is great too.
