I was getting out of my car yesterday to go into the supermarket and as I opened the door and looked down as I now realize I always do, I could not believe what I saw. Companies now have the nerve to put advertising on the ground. The white lines that divide the parking spaces were actually advertisements for a tv show. I believe that the white line said something along the lines of this: Parking reserved for desperate housewives viewers and it included the time and channel that the show is on.
Ever play video games? One of my favorites is Madden football. This year they have the Sprint key player of the drive, the Cadillac player of the game, and the under armor redzone stats. I wonder with all the money that they are getting for these ads in their games, why am I still paying the same price to buy the game?
In todays world athletes and actors promote everything from water to Viagra. Their clothes tend to be given to them in return for wearing them in public so that other will want to dress like them.
What will be next? Would you be willing to sell space on your body to put an ad there for Coke or Pepsi? It won't be long until something like this happens.

Here's my own advertisement. Just going with the trend.
"While we locate the company customer you wish to call, please take a moment to listen to these great deals!" Then, it was commercials that played until she picked up her phone. I was amused.
Gregory, my husband plays Mdden, and I think he was talking about that game the other day with having TV show advertising on the football field walls. Smallville, or something. It might have been a different game, though.
