Just curious. Have you ever answered the online surveys untruthfully in anticipation to "qualify" for a survey?

No. Hadn't thought to do that. But I haven't done an online survey in at least 2 years because I never got anywhere with them. Just another survey to do.

no, not to qualify....

I've done my husband's surveys though...I ask the question and he shouts out the answer...I type it in.

Nope. I wouldn't know what the right thing to say to qualify would be. I just hope I get accepted. Most of the surveys I take are open to everyone anyway.

no, just because you never know what they're looking for. So, you might lie to say you work in a particular industry just to find out that's not what they were looking for. It's best to be honest anyway, that way the researchers get the info they're looking for.

I never did an on-line survey, but occasionally we get an immature kick out of answering those surveys that are mailed to our house in the most outrageous way we can think of.
I am always honest, some surveys have questions that will catch un-truths...

I usually get kicked off the survey after male -50 - white,,,,we're sorry etc!!!

Never. I'm always 100% honest even when I know when I click our income that I'll be ousted from the survey. (Sometimes you can just tell when they say under _____)

I answer truthfully, but I don't tend to do them any more. They say you'll be entered in our contest but I have never seen one that says: so and so from God knows where one our last draw...would you like to be in the next round, please participate...

I'm not saying no one gets the prize but when you find out sometimes like PCH has people from more than the US entering, is it worth the time? I'd rather play games on the internet where it's free, you rack up points for gift certificates and have a shot at a milllion as often as you want to play.

Oh no, never...afraid I'll get in trouble or something.Plus I bet they stick answers in there to catch people that lie too... But I do type in responses for my boyfriend and son, but it's still their answers. They'll be watching t.v., and i'll ask the questions, and type in their answers!

I do when they ask if anyone in your household works in a grocery store. My BF does and this would nix me from most surveys, but the fact that he works there has no effect on my opinions of things!

I take surveys from one site that represents other sites. There is one place that I never qualified for the survey, even after answering several questions and wasting alot of time. When I see it is one of their surveys, I enter my age wrong and get bumped out right away.

It is almost like that place gets the information they need but then tells you you dont qualify and you dont get the incentive.
