I just indulged buying an antique rooster. It is gorgeous made of copper and my act was purely impulsive. However, in my mind I was trying to tell myself that It is a tradition in many cultures to have birds as statues, carvings and croched on clothings and textiles. Birds of all kinds are the messengers of the sun and heaven, and represent the pushing away of evil; they symbolize fertility, the fulfillment of wishes, and a good harvest. Roosters are symbols of good fortune, masculinity, or the coming of dawn. Or in second thought maybe I am trying too hard to feel better about my act ;)
Hmmm, the last thing I really bought expensive for me was some expensive craft totes before I had Destiny. I guess it wasnt to costly though considering they were 50 percent off and I had a 20 percent employee discount at the tine too. Other than saving for a house I currently have my eye on a new bedroom suit and a new mattress. *The mattress is a little over 1000 alone.* Ours is over 20 years old and shot so I can't really call that indulgent but a necessaty.
