It is right up there with the woman who left her baby in a stroller outside a NY cafe, got in trouble (as it is against the law to leave your baby unattended), sued the City of NY and won an enormous amount of $ ...
How did you missed the judge and his 54 million dollars pants? Its was all over the news for a week or two and was just ruled on earlier this week?
Man, drunk, falls off subway platform and lost his arm. Sued the subway (too few babysitters) for $12 million.
Wrestler, as a stunt, straps a refrigerator to his back for a footrace. Strap slips and he hurts himself: sues refrigerator company and strap company (apparently for not having some sort of warning?)
12 year old child drops little match in the neighbor's gas tank, with predictable results. Parents of said child sue neighbor and car company because it was not a keyed gas tank lid.
Pants nightmare would take the cake over these, IF they hadn't been successful.
