Would You Rather...

Have a coworker fired for something you did?

OR

Be forced to fire a coworker who is one year away from retirement?

I guess Karma comes around. I have been fired for others mistakes, twice. So someone else getting fired for my mistake would really not bother me that much.

I would rather have someone fired for something I did. As horrible as that would be, it wouldn't be as bad as having to fire an older person right before retirement. That would stink to know that this person has worked his or her entire life and will get nothing now thanks to me.

As horrible as it sounds, I would much rather have someone fired for something I did! Afterall, they could go find a new job probably rather quickly. Taking away someon's hard earned retirement would be terrible!

I didn't do it! That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Actually, I have done things purposely to get others fired I didn't like in the past. I warned them they shouldn't have crossed me...I have my ways. They found out that hard way.

I've had to deal with people like Rob described a few times in my life. At this point, I like Shawnee, wouldn't mind seeing karma in action. I could never take away the retirement benefits or pensions of anyone nearing that state of existence. I'm sure they suffered enough at the benefit of the "Rob's" of the world. (lol)

As hard as it would be I would chose the first one. The only thing that would really get me is if the person taking the fall for me was one year from retirement!

I believe i'd choose the first one bcuz I'd never have the heart to fire an older person so close to retirement

If I had to choose it would be the first one. I did fire a person who was 3 months away from retirement.

Peter got fired from the dairy for milking the bull, the good news is, the bull and he are doing fine and living in nice duplex.

I agree with Dani. If the person close to retirement did something to deserve the firing then I would have to pick them. If not...then i don't have a clue what I would do. I guess assuming the person taking the fall was not close to retirement I'd have to pick them because they have a chance of getting another job.

I would rather someone get fired for something I did, they would probably be able to find another job. The person 1 yr from retirement wouldn't be so lucky and it would be a greater financial hardship on that person. I wouldn't like to do either as I should be punished for my own mistakes.
