Maybe it's because he is an X-Republican!

I'm watching his town hall meeting, on FNC BTW.

Unlike his previous town hall meeting where he and the Obama administration representative spewed Democratic talking points promoting Obamacare and were summarily shouted down.

He is actually allowing people to ask questions and responding to their concerns!

He is but he is DODGING a lot of the questions and not giving REAL answers to all of them.
Honestly, I felt like it was all rote responses, like the letters I have gotten when I have written my own senators. (Stabenow and Levin, career politicians who have drank LOTS of the koolaid)

I agree but at least he is responding, and if his responses are not honest and he is avoiding the questions we will see that too!

LOL! I wrote my Reps protesting Obama's snitch line...only one responded, with a canned health care response.

I'd LOVE to see MY senators hold one of these meetings.
Unfortunately they could CARE LESS what the public thinks.

Regardless, his switch to the Democrats will cost him his seat. The new rising star of the dems, Rep Joe Sestak (D, PA-07) will likely smoke Specter in the primaries next year.

Sestak will be holding his own town meeting later this week. Let's see how that plays out.

I LOVED the 35 year old lady... reminded me a lot of myself... said she was NOT politically "active" or "involved" before, but that this issue (health care) has awoken America's sleeping giant...
Makes me feel we really DO have at least some inkling of a chance in defeating this administrations attempts at taking over our entire lives.
