As many of us say goodbye to the last best hope for the democrats to take back the white house, many of Hillarys near 18 million voters are considering voting for Mccain.Looking at her website and the thousands who have blogged there,at the DNC blog site and talking to friends, family and a few people in the grocery line and doctors office, none of the people I spoke to will consider voting for Obama and many of the bloggers say the same thing.
It isnt about being a good democrat,it is about doing what is best for our country.Mccain is not Bush.He is willing to work across party lines and is a nice man who has experience and will keep the country safe.He wont be able to do much harm with a democrat controlled congress and will probably do much better than Bush because of his willingness to work with democrats.Obama will divide the country as he did during the nominating process. We dont need the type of person who dismisses anyone who doesnt support him and call them bitter, gun toting ,uneducated blue collar workers and is ready to throw away their votes when they didnt go his way.And from what the analysts say his ideas would cost us a ton of new taxes. His character? He sat and listened to bigoted hatred for 20 years, has many sleazy associates and one more was in the news today.
So goodbye to Senator Clinton and hello to being a republican(never thought I would vote republican in my life),temporarily, until 2012 anyways, when the Dems get a decent candidate that we can once again support.

I have no sworn allegiance to any Party. Parties are what have screwed the people for over 200 years...
Pathetic, foolish, and ignorant.
"it is about doing what is best for our country"
By voting for ANOTHER 4 years of BushCheneyCorp failure? Goodbye, America, if this is what we get.
"Mccain is not Bush."
He's voted with him 95% of the time. He's as close as any politician could possibly be to Bush without being connected penis to anus, and I wouldn't be totally shocked to find out that was the case as well, to be honest.
"He is willing to work across party lines"
Obama is FAR more willing to do so, and FAR more able to produce results in doing so.
"is a nice man"
In a "Dr. Strangelove, madman, heavily-traumatized, desparately in need of medication" sort of way.
"who has experience"
With lobbyists.
"will keep the country safe"
By continuing to drive us deeper and deeper into republiCON debt and continuing a needless, illegal occupation of Iraq for at least 100 years, while at the same time ignoring the real threats around the world.
"He wont be able to do much harm"
Right. Who cares if another 2 supreme court justices become reichwing extremist, activist judges, who strip away civil rights, women's rights, and turn our nation's government into a theocratic, fascist dictatorship? No biggie.
"Obama will divide the country as he did during the nominating process."
Oh yeah, that's right...it was Obama that was doing the dividing. Not Hillary. Obama is divisive, mean, ugly, and doesn't work well with others at all. And, you're delusional.
"We dont need the type of person who dismisses anyone who doesnt support him and call them bitter, gun toting ,uneducated blue collar workers and is ready to throw away their votes when they didnt go his way."
Way to take down those reichwing talking points! Congrats! You get an "A" in brain liquification!
"And from what the analysts say his ideas would cost us a ton of new taxes"
Apparently, somebody hasn't bothered to check into what the analysts are saying about Johnny "I-really-don't-know-anything-about-economics" McLame. Might wanna do that before November.
"His character?"
Oh, his character...awful. I mean, who could ever vote for someone who wanted to unite America, and create more equality? Forget that. We'd much rather have someone who's been caught in bed with lobbyists his whole career, narrowly escaped being sent to prison for his sleazy connections at one time, and who can't seem to keep his stories straight, even though he's the "straight talker guy."
"He sat and listened to bigoted hatred for 20 years, has many sleazy associates and one more was in the news today."
Another "A" for brain liquification. You just keep right on swallowing every single one of those reichwing talking points. No need to think for yourself. Hey, have you heard that he's a muslim, and that he was raised in a terrorist training school? Yeah, that one, too! Don't forget that!
You're a fool, and, quite frankly, you deserve the republiCON party, and they deserve you. Knock yourself out and enjoy being on the side of losers.

By all means, spend that time looking critically at the candidates, their records and what they really stand for. Then vote your conscience. Clearly you're upset at the moment. Fortunately, you have plenty of time to look rationally at what your choice really is. If an open-minded look leads you to the same conclusion, you should vote your conscience.
To make a decision like this now, that argues a vindictive and petty nature.
Allowing repugnicons to vote in Democratic primaries is just plain stupid and your state is not famous for its intelligence.
I expect Obama to poll ahead all summer, but that always seems to happen.
Damn straight. Even beyond Hillary's inability to tell the truth, beyond her idiotic endorsements of 4 more years of BushCheneyCorp, beyond her smearing her democratic opponent with lies, beyond her obsession to triangulate, beyond her offensive and obnoxious husband, beyond her seedy ties to seedy lobbyists, beyond all else that I distrusted about her and her husband all along, it was the attitude of the Hillarybots like Patti here that made my stomach turn at the thought of another Clinton white house. Thank GOD, that threat is over. And, thank GOD, the Patti's can find a way to continue voting like morons, by voting for McSame.
"Clark although he always tends to have to be nasty. "
Truth hurts, donut? Sorry, but I find people like you EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE and I respond in kind.
And, it's not because you supported Hillary. I would've supported her, had she won the nomination, just to do my part to prevent another 4 years of republiCON failure in the white house. This country can NOT AFFORD another 4 years of this filthy corrupt, diseased party of failures.
What disgusts me about YOU and those like you, is that, just because Hillary lost, you're now going to turn 180 degrees and vote for everything that she stood AGAINST, by voting for McLame. That shows a dispicible, intolerable lack of character and principles that I simply find offensive.
But, of course, this is precisely what can be expected when a party candidate slashes and burns her opponent and then that opponent ends up winning the nonimation. The fact that Clinton chose to create robotic freak monsters like you, in her desperate, ugly, sleazy campaign of division offends me even more so, because SHE could've put an end to it.
It was HER decision to march down the path of destruction, even LONG after polling showed it to be hurting her, and LONG after pundits predicted that it would cause mindless fools to turn to McBush if Obama won the nomination. She acted foolishly, self-centeredly, disrespectfully, and absolutely against her own party.
Meanwhile, I'll say it again: You DESERVE the republiCON party, and they deserve you. You're a perfect match for each other. Neither one has a fricking clue or gives half a shit about this country.
Not a chance. McIraq is a disastrously weak and flawed candidate, facing one of the most potent, powerful candidates in our lifetimes. The more the public begins to learn about McLobby's sleazy ties to sleazy lobbyists, and their sleazy ties to sleazy dictators, the more they will reject him. The man doesn't even know who are enemies and friends are in the middle east, and openly admits to not knowing anything about economics. He wants to stay in Iraq for at least 100 years, and sees absolutely no problem with that. He has ZERO plans for changing the disastrous course that this nation has been misled down.
Trust me, the more people learn about this dishonest person, the less they're going to want to have anything whatsoever to do with him. Except the Patti's, of course. They'll be right at home in the arms of Bush III.
Yeah. Right. Happen to have a source or should we go by what YOU "believe"?
"I believe that number, in a poll about a month ago, will be higher in November."
More belief? Based on daydreams? This is simply idiotic. You have NO idea where the campaigns will take us.

Please spin that out into the stratosphere.
Thank you.
I'm a Dem and I ain't voting for the koolaid king.
Doylie and clark bent are just upset because they know bammer is going to lose.
Yeah you and bert , Democrats , and I'm the king of England.
Patti, before making up your mind take a look both Obama's and McCain's poisition on the issues that caused both of us to back Hillary. You will find that Issue wise Obama is much closer to Hillary than McCain. And don't let the vitrol of those Obama aupporters who don't know how to be gracious winners get to you. I honestly don't think some of them want what their canidate wants. Take Stephanie's advice; take some time to cool down and then take a good look at both candidates.
I also suspect that you will find that some of the Gather members who were so anti-Hillary during the primary season will now become anti-Obama. They didn't need Karl Rove to tell them how to be nasty and play dirty politics.
Also don't count on a lot of people spitting their ticket to increase the Democratic majority in both houses of Congress to the degree necessary to negate the efforts the occupant of the White House..
