I do not base my vote on rhetoric nor number of bothersome calls from a particular politician. These calls are more likely to persuade me not to vote for them because they insult my intelligence. I feel everyone who has the right to vote should vote even if they write in a candidate because that vote will count against those they do not want in office and may save our country!

Judith: Well said. And well considered. However, since no write in "candidate" has a "chinaman's chance in Hell" of being elected no one on the ballot is any different than anyone else... well, if I saw a marked difference to the better I would vote. I think we are deluding ourselves in thinking that our vote is going to change anything. The only thing that might be related is the "perception" by the politicians that they can bamboozle enough of us into flipping the coin their way, makes it seem sensible... when it isn't. To me, the situation (and the world's future is hopeless as long as we -- including the rest of the world -- uses the partisan political system of elections, a sure guarantee that only special interests will be "represented."

I feel about the same Donald, the entire system these days is an insult to our intelligence and it is very sad that so many still fall for it all like they do ... so many sheeple ...
