I was feeling happily suicidal tonight, so I decided to put this question out there for everybody to respond to. Four years from now, when we are all looking back on the presidency of either Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, or John McCain, who do you think, hypothetically, will have wreaked the most havoc and caused the most chaos??
I am also curious to find out what kind of specific havoc do you think they will wreak and why you personally feel that they will cause the chaos that you think they will inevitably cause. If you think it will be Obama who will screw up the country the worst, how do you think he will screw it up?? If you think Clinton will cause the most damage in four years time, then what kind of specific damage are we talking about?? If you think McCain would be the one who would push the country farther over the abyss, what do you feel he would do to accomplish that??
This is an open-thread article and no comments will be deleted or censored. Everyone is free to express themselves about Obama, Clinton, or McCain in any way they wish. However, I would ask a special favor from all of you to refrain from using profanity and/or personally insulting one another. Profanity will force me to flag this article and personal insults will discourage others from joining in the conversation.
So....Have at it, my friends.................................................

So I deleted my answer and am now giving the corret answer fo me.
Obama
Obama. . . he squawks endlessly about change. .. CHANGE CHANGE CHANGE!! But what are this man's plans for this change he is babbling about?
Many of his supporters idolize him as a demigod . . . people who blindly follow a man with no plan will lead us all to destruction.
We know because of Bush. Same thing will continue. Can't get worse.
He will want to put more "free giveaway" programs into effect. He is inexperienced, has no plan other than "change", and is WAY too liberal. His immigration policy is against what 75% of Americans want, and he will push for "amnesty" which will encourage even more illegal aliens to flood into the country.
His vote on giving social security to illegal aliens means he will push that too. Kiss yours goodbye.
McCain is a follower and I'm afraid he will follow in Bush's footsteps. I would've supported him a few years back when he ran but no longer. So, I'm going with McCain.
People who are that reasonable, and open, don't always realize just how petty, and unreasonable others can be. He is a quick study, though, as well. He seems to be able to adapt and adjust more quickly, so he could rebound, and counter with something, an enemy would not expect.
The damage done, could come, as a result of his not seeing it coming, so to speak, due to his openess.
Clinton, is very savvy in the political world, and could do the political game really well. Which would be fine if the game only involved herself, and associates, but it involves all of us, as well, and it's not a game, to us.
Right now, she seems closer to what McCain is, than what Obama is. Not in views, perhaps, but in technique, and style.
I voted for Hillary in the primaries, but since then, she appears to not listen very well. She may have a lot of good ideas, and connections, but her failure to not listen, and plow full steam ahead, would concern me.
I can see her making the gaff: Going to a Middle Eastern country for talks, and showing up donning one of those scarves over her head, as a gesture to show her tolerance and willingness to understand their ways. (I barf whenever I see any American, reporter, or a dignitary actually curtsy to the queen of England.JEESH! WE are not her subjects. We should not bow.)
McCain. He dies not listen either. SDome times he will come out and say, he's finally heard, and understands, and then completely flips his stance, with a not very convincing acting job of being sincere. He says and does whatever sounds good to whatever group he's in front of at the time.
I get the impression of the nutty captain played by Humphrey Bogart, in that old movie, testifying on the stand, rolling those metal balls through his fingers.
I think he always wanyed to be a military commander, like his father and grandfather, and really wants to out do them by becoming the Cammander and Chief of the armed forces.
I think, if Bush doesn't beat him to it, he would spread the war to Iran, and Syria.
He also reminds me of Marie Antoinette, and the "Then let them eat cake", mentality, when it comes to the economy, and the middle-lower income people.
McCain
McCain
McCain
War. More war, and more war.
And 4 years from now, nothing much will have changed, even if the newly elected President begins working on ending the war, fixing gas prices, fixing the housing market, developing new sources of power, dismantling the Patriot Act, and disbanding Homeland Security.
Things take time, to go bad and to get fixed. That is the basic truth.
Clinton is a nightmare.
Obama does have a plan and it looks good to me.
Put the names in a hat and pick one. The real answer is, "For things to change, first WE have to change."
Spiraling on down for four years...
Obama would stay that failed course.
To each their own for whatever reason
They are ALL Liars. . . every single politician (including the media darling obama) is a liar.
I agree. I have a strange feeling that the DNC and GOP administer lie detector tests to anyone seeking a run for office, and if they pass, no endorsement.
He is Bush on steroids. Be afraid. Very afraid.
Obama has an initial edge on inspiring the enthusiasm to get the done, but since getting things done is not a cake walk, I suspect the enthusiasm of his supporters will wear thin when change does not happen as rapidly as they seem to think it will happen.
Clinton has an edge on getting a handle on the economy and deficit without trusting entirely on the advice supposed experts who have more experience at developing theories than they have putting them into practice.
This economy being the thing that most directly affects us my bet in on Obama or McCain to screw things up the most.
I cannot imagine how anybody can look in her eyes and not be terrified. Obama would be a fool to take her as a running mate (as I heard somebody suggest once). She's liable to really have him killed.
Okay, maybe I've just got a bad case of the heebie-jeebies and Hillary is not the Anti-Christ. But I am fully persuaded that she is all about her own ends and those ends are not the good of the country.
