According to a FOXNews.com report, former Republican and Georgia Representative Bob Barr is weighing the possibility of a Presidential bid as an Independent. Barr, who became a Libertarian after he left Congress in 2003, could be taking up where Ron Paul left off.
According to the report, FITSNews wrote that Barr would receive Paul's endorsement. Barr told the Atlanta-Constitution Journal that his bid would be an extension of the Ron Paul movement. A candidacy has not been announced but FITSNews says it is coming next week.

Apparently the attraction of media attention is greater than their fear of embarrassing themselves by having nothing meaningful to say. Barr's remarks, after he declined to run for another term in Congress (before Georgia voters declined to elect him for another term for not representing them), have the same odd ring as Ron Paul.
They strike me as two guys who are living in La La Land with Carol!
Thanks for the info and thanks for commenting on my Attitude article. I'm pleased with what you had to say. I appreciate it.
Whatever angle one looks at this, it's not exactly normal that the 3rd most populous country in the world has only 2 major political parties.
More alternatives are clearly needed to reflect the people's true will.
