If one does a Google search on "HR 1955" (the bill number for the "Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism of 2007") you will recieve around 17,500 hits. All of them blogs, and from Ron Paul supports and well as Dr. Paul himself, but nothing from any of the Media outlets.
Here is what I got when I type "HR 1955" or "Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism" with the major media websites:
Cable Network News http://www.cnn.com 0 hits
ABC News http://www.abcnews.com 0 hits
NBC http://www.nbc.com 0 hits
CBS doesn't have a search function on website that I could find
FOX News http://www.foxnews.com
MSNBC http://www.msnbc.com 1 hit from a poster to Kieth Olbermans Countdown Thursday
USA Today http://www.usatoday.com/ 0 hits for the site, but adds Yahoo! hits
Washinton Post http://WashingtonPost.com 0 hits
New York Times http://www.nytimes.com 0 hits
LA Times http://www.latimes.com 0 hits
10 Media Major Media outlets, and not a peep out of them. When I called my local news agencies, all I got was "we'll look into it".
One of the most important protected freedoms we have is under attack and not a bloody peep out of the very people most Americans rely on for their news and information. It makes you wonder whose side they are actually on. By now we can definately say, it ain't ours.
We are talking about an attack on our freedom of speech, freedom to assemble peaceablly, even freedom of the press. And the news media does nothing.
Just out of curiosity, how many of you wrote your state senators? They vote on this issue next month, and don't count on the US Supreme Court to over rule it, especially with its current make up and Chief Justice.
In Liberty,
Joseph V.

Ron Paul supporters and also Dennis K supporters have been called "terrorists" by some people in their reporting of events. It seems supporting a Constitutional form of government is "terrorism" to some reporters. I can't remember the articles but if I read it it was probably on MSNBC, NY Times or CNN.
That bill could easily be construed by the Bush adm. to mean the "Ron Paul Revolution" is a terrorist organization. That is why some many have written articles about it. We all know full well how Bush & Co can interpret things.
