Hosting My Own Presidential Primary

In January I am planning to hold my own Presidential Primary on this website. Mine will be an open primary, meaning that each person can cast one vote in each political party. This will even be open to Third Party Candidates. When I started “The Shamgar Report” my goal was to recognize those candidates who are often ignored by the mainstream media. In my primary all parties will be recognized.

Here is sample of how you will write out your votes

Democrat-John Doe

Republican-Ralph Doe

Libertarian -Jane Doe

Green Party-Sally Sue

Constitution-Jimmy Joe

Hope you will cast your votes in January.

I look forward to seeing the results. I don't know whether I will vote in the primary. I think the idea of being forced to declare a party affiliation or preference is a violation of the secret ballot. I'll be sure to check out your primary, however.
