I think the problem is we've become too uncomfortable and apathetic. If you're not personally in dire straits, other people's discomfort seems, let's face it, like their problem to most of us. It's too much easier to watch demonstrations on the half-hour news than it is to get out there and show your own outrage; as long as this continues to be more comfortable than standing up, the elite and the usurpers and the super-rich will continue to rule us. And make no mistake, it's not governing anymore. It's ruling.
