Then, return on May 15 to vote on the contest finalists. We're counting on the Gather community to select the best of the bunch. One essay author and one video producer will win a place on the Starbucks Earthwatch Expedition 2007 to Costa Rica! Voting Period is May 15-22.

Forgive my anxious anticipation and perhaps ignorance. 'curious about this: the five video entries have qualified (as in what the Rules specified) or will these be whittled down come the 15th to those that will be determined to have actually qualified?
The essays posted include ones that don't qualify? Of course, this will be moot come Tuesday. Still, I've tried to answer this to others with whom I've shared the site. I'm at a loss to explain. Thanks in advance!
All the essays are undergoing eligibility review. The ten essay finalists will be announced, along with the five video finalists, on May 15.
