Exciting, because you get to see the country and have that wonderful rush of walking into a bookstore you've never seen before and spotting your book on a table or shelf.
Exhilirating, because there is, to me, nothing like meeting people who enjoy reading your work - and who aren't RELATED to you! I can never express how warm it makes a writer feel when someone with an accent different than his tells him they read his work and like it. When this happens out on tour, it makes the whole thing so much sweeter, you almost want to add a few more cities to keep it going!
A lot of writers dont seem to like touring; I never undestood why. Writing is such a lonely profession. Who wouldn't want to get out and meet the people you are writing for?
thanks
mitch
I am very interested in getting your travels to take you to West Palm Beach Florida, Boca Raton, or Ft Lauderdale so we can visit with the interested readers here in Florida! What is the chance?
Regards,
Jim
I still really love your book Tuesdays with maury. As my parents are going through the aging process, I've decided to dedicate Thursdays with them. It's an experience of a lifetime.
Thanks
