I heard about it, but seems to be very little coverage as usual.
Anyhow our Marxist leaders, ignored them as usual too...

Seems to be a pattern here. Listen only to those that pat you on the back....

The reports vary about numbers. One said 100,000. Another 10,000. Another said "a handful".

Yeah, even here on gather some people are reporting maybe 10k...Like so many other things, the politics of the thing decide on how large the numbers are I guess...

The first report I heard said there were 10's of thousands. The next one I heard said there were about 6,000. Michele Bachmann said there were about 20, 000. I just saw the video of it on Hannity .... there was at least 10 thou or more.

Don't worry Marilyn, the big money guys are on your side. You can't lose. There will be no reform before the collapse of the system. That's not to say the insurance and drug companies won't take a bigger slice of your money. But there will be no reform.

On Rachael Maddow it was repoted to be a little over 4,000 at the press conference on the capital steps, but I haven't heard much about over-all.
Most the news coverage is about the Fort Hood shootings.

It must make the liberals crazy to see so many people protesting them and their policies. Every time they try to demean the protesters and the overall protests, their own words defending their own protests under Bush and others come back to haunt them.

Reminds me of the bush years. You know when there were over 36 MILLION people that protested going into Iraq. That number was only for the over 3000 protests around the world that were held between 1/3/03 and 4/12/03. There were protests in 150 US cities on 2/15/03 alone. In New York City about 100,000 people protested. It made the news but just barely. So you're basically comparing coverage of a 3 to 20 thousand person protest to coverage of a world-wide movement of millions of people that got only marginally more coverage than your baby tea party.

Frankly, R.F., we crazy right-wing whackos don't see how world-wide protests over a just war has anything to do with Americans protesting the trampling of our Constitution.

And, I haven't the time, nor the inclination, to look it up but I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts that there were those who protest involvement in WWII.

Communist party did, but they kind of fell into a routine from all the labor union organizing from years earlier. They were worried because they thought our Constitution said we were isolationists.

It started with the hippies, and I've been living with it ever since. Here's hoping that this wave of protesting ends with my baby boomer generation. I'd like to think the next generations have a brain in their head.

Partisans are a sad group.

We elected the candidates who insisted they are bi-partisan in this last election. The candidates who liked what their party stood for, lost.

I don't want to see protests end. Politics is suppose to be contentious in the US. It's also a good thing to know that there are thousands of people that would go to DC to protest anything because Michelle Bachmann, the female w, told them to go there.
