Tea Party protesters and 9/12 protesters descended upon Washington DC again today urging Congress to throw out the health care bill created by Democrats to take over our health and our lives.
Lest you believe some of the news reports what said a "handful" of people showed up, let me assure you that there were more than a handful.
At least 15 buses left from Columbus, Ohio and another 5 from Dayton, Ohio. And many of our Tea Party and 9/12 group members were driving in or flying in. Just from this part of Ohio, there were at least 1200 people.
I have no idea how many came from other parts of the country, and I probably won't know that until the leaders of the groups get back and can post what they know.
But for now, I can tell you there was definitely more than a handful of folks there.

Anyhow our Marxist leaders, ignored them as usual too...
Seems to be a pattern here. Listen only to those that pat you on the back....
The reports vary about numbers. One said 100,000. Another 10,000. Another said "a handful".
On Rachael Maddow it was repoted to be a little over 4,000 at the press conference on the capital steps, but I haven't heard much about over-all.
Most the news coverage is about the Fort Hood shootings.
Politco had this:

And, I haven't the time, nor the inclination, to look it up but I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts that there were those who protest involvement in WWII.
It started with the hippies, and I've been living with it ever since. Here's hoping that this wave of protesting ends with my baby boomer generation. I'd like to think the next generations have a brain in their head.
We elected the candidates who insisted they are bi-partisan in this last election. The candidates who liked what their party stood for, lost.
Partisans are indeed a sad group, but we are learning.
