Obama Uncovered : Bring Back Bush!

August 03, 2009 11:17 AM EDT (Updated: August 03, 2009 11:19 AM EDT)

Obama lies uncovered. All he has managed to do is destroy a working albeit imperfect capitalistic society.  Now, after failing at helping the American people in anyway to recover, their homes, their taxes, giving billions to corporations, no new taxes, cash for clunkers is out of cash, now, he says he'll have to raise our taxes to pay for health care.

So what have you given us Mr. Obama:  Higher unemployment than under Bush, a war in Afghanistan, haven't freed the terrorists in Gitmo, but one, and no thanks for that anyway, and insulted police officers but managed to have a beer and show the world what a racist you are!

If I sound angry, I am and I'm not alone!

At least with Bush we stayed safe after 9-11, had our taxes reduced, and kept our guns!

Bring back lying Bush who if you remember was a Republican, or Reagan when we were wealthy, remember: Vote Republican!

Youl've been lied to, America!

If it's a black president we, vote J.C. Watts.  Now, that's an honest man.

See Obama lie in this quoted article on You Tube Video:

http://www.examiner.com/x-14143-Orange-County-Conservative-Examiner~y2009m8d3-Jolting-uncovered-video-of-Obama-and-single-payer-health-care

From the Examiner "Obama’s desire to trash the status quo in heath care and bring online a single payer system in the U.S. is revealed in this shocking uncovered video. Congress, who has never managed anything efficiently, has screwed up America at every twist and turn. Remember their failures social security, Medicare, cash for clunkers and take it in the polling booth with you in 2010"

Well bringing back Reagan would be a problem he is dead.

Umm Carol if you recall the bailouts started under Bush..at least this batch. We have been doing corporate welfare for decades just not on this grand of a scale.

So he has to raise taxes to get healthcare for everyone so what? What value do YOU put on human life? $10 $15?

Bush did NOT keep us any safer than Clinton did. Remember there were NO attacks on US soil by outsiders from the first attackes on the WTC. That was UNTIL Bush took office.

Clinton kept us safe. Bush made us a target.
*Carol ~Bronx Southern Belle D. Aug 3, 2009, 1:16pm EDT
Lori,
Health care reform doesn't need to be taxed. Why is it we throw good money after bad, and that means it will work. Welfare doesn't work. Medicaid is broke. Social Security is broke. Give us our money and good people such as yourself and I will donate like it used to be. I believe people are good, and if you leave me some money, I'll use it as I see fit, not as the government sees fit, and then misuses.
Johnice R. Aug 3, 2009, 2:30pm EDT
Carol, nothing is set in stone and certainly my SSI payments are still coming, my Medicaid is still paying my doctors and there is nothing in the wind which states that the Congress will not support programs to the elderly. Even the GOP cannot be that heartless.
Marilyn M. Aug 3, 2009, 2:58pm EDT
Johnice, you have not read the proposed bill, obviously. It will certainly affect the elderly.
Lori F. Aug 3, 2009, 3:21pm EDT
And how is that Marilyn? And please try to include a fact not spin or fear mongering.

What is it you think every senior should know about the proposed healthcare bill.
Johnice R. Aug 3, 2009, 3:36pm EDT
Marilyn,

There you go again assuming things you have no factual knowledge of. Sad and just sadder!

There are THREE bills in congres as we speak being marked up and ammended and rewritten which will be presented to the floor of congress when they returnin the Fall.

There are some folk out there who still choose to assume--I guess it is easier than actually thinking!

Bingo you hit the nail on Marilyn's head.

AC W. Aug 3, 2009, 8:43pm EDT
"Well bringing back Reagan would be a problem he is dead."

Nothing gets by you, does it Lori? :) Sorry, couldn't resist! You know I love you!

"Bush did NOT keep us any safer than Clinton did. Remember there were NO attacks on US soil by outsiders from the first attackes on the WTC. That was UNTIL Bush took office."

Oh, come on Lori. Al Qaeda plans attacks for years and many analyses I've read say that the planning for 9-11 began almost immediately after the 1993 WTC bombing. Yes, it happened on Bush's watch, but the wheels had been set in motion long before he ever took office. There's plenty of blame to go around for 9-11, and some of that blame most certainly rests with President Clinton (I'm reading a particulary riveting account of the failures of both Clinton and Bush with regard to 9-11 right now).
Robert - just a simple man - B. Aug 5, 2009, 5:13pm EDT
Clinton didn't keep us safe. I remember there were bombs at our embassies in Africa, bombs targeting our warships and yes, a couple of bombs in downtown Manhattan. And silly are the people who think one man, one president can make you safe.

WTC was well past planning stages before our 2000 election became history. Yes, it happened on Bush's watch but it would have happened on the other guy's watch as well.

I really get a headache from these political posts because they seem to attract real, life-breathing buffoons.
Robert - just a simple man - B. Aug 5, 2009, 5:14pm EDT
But thanks for the post Carol, nevertheless.

Today is 8/5/09.
I am still a Republican.
Bill Clinton did good today.
~ applause ~

I'm not sure Clinton kept us safe, but he did keep us entertained. Cigar anyone??? ;.)
Lori F. Aug 3, 2009, 11:30am EDT
Ewwwww Adam.

Srsly Bush ruined our economy. He did give us a couple tax breaks especially for those underprivledged top 1% of all wage earners.

Bush was a joke...he even recognizes it. You dont hear to much from him.

AC W. Aug 3, 2009, 8:43pm EDT
"Cigar anyone???"

I don't care who you are, that's funny!
AC W. Aug 3, 2009, 8:46pm EDT
"...especially for those underprivledged top 1%...."

Yeah, those lucky SOBs actually got to pay a LARGER percentage of the total federal income tax bill after Bush's tax cuts in 2001 and 2003. Funny how that worked out, huh?

"You dont hear to much from him."

That's because unlike Carter, Bush believes it's inappropriate to publicly bash a sitting president. Clinton by and large refrained from bashing Bush, except for a few occasions when he had to in order to appease a particular audience.

I know him. My kids played football with his son. He is a good and honest man, who doesn't want the job because he knows politicians are corrupt. That's what makes him good, and he is a God fearing man.

I don't agree at all. I wouldn't that ole shrub back for anything. He was by far the worst president we have ever had. Obama isn't perfect but a far better leader than he will ever be.
Marilyn M. Aug 3, 2009, 2:59pm EDT
No, Carter still holds that title, Jennifer.
Jennifer R. Aug 3, 2009, 3:41pm EDT
I can't say I know about a lot of the Carter era since I was born in 78 but Bush has definitely left an indelible mark upon my memory and it is because of his debauchery as a president that I finally started voting and I did vote for Obama. So far so good I think...
*Carol ~Bronx Southern Belle D. Aug 3, 2009, 6:11pm EDT
Jennifer,
The Carter era was the saddest period in American history. He was a nice guy, but not a president.

Maybe god will strike all the people that actually care for the welfare of their fellow man down?
That appears to be your solution and if your kid makes over $250,000 tax his butt to pre bush era tax cuts and America will surely fall?
Do you even listen to what you say?
Johnice R. Aug 3, 2009, 12:05pm EDT
Move where? The grass only appears to be greener in Countries where even daily utilities are not available 24/7. I have lived abroad and believe me there are major adjustments to be made. Water is not too safe, everything costs more, your purchasing choices are limited and American whites are not well received even in Europe. Have a nice trip!
Bunny B. Aug 3, 2009, 11:36am EDT
We were already in Afghanistan. "Terrorists" in Gitmo are our soldiers. Besides, he hasn't been there long enough to really get anything going. The GOP keeps lolligagging about everything. Bring back Bush? Are you ready to send MORE soldiers to their death? Ready to give your money to the big guys? I am not. Anyone is better than the shrub.
Bunny B. Aug 3, 2009, 11:37am EDT
God? hahahahahaa!!
AC W. Aug 3, 2009, 8:50pm EDT
Interesting comments Bunny. Calling our soldiers terrorists? Wow. That's pretty far out there.

Oh, and about the GOP lolligagging about everything, I'm sure you realize that Democrats have a majority in the House and a filibuster proof majority in the Senate, meaning they don't need a single Republican vote to get anything they want passed. The problem seems to be that they can't keep all the Democrats in line, though. Still, it is convenient to blame Republicans, right? Even if the facts don't support the charge?

"Are you ready to send MORE soldiers to their death?"

Did you know that President Obama doubled the number of U.S. forces in Afghanistan? Talk about sending more soldiers to their deaths!
Bunny B. Aug 4, 2009, 9:01am EDT
To Afghanistan. Why? Because "we" want to "finish" the job, right? When Obama said he was gonna pull the troops out, what happened? The politician who are making money started crying and whining that we have to finish it. Whatever. If it was solely up to Obama, the troops would be back home instead of, yes, terrorizing innocent people.

Did he double the amount of soldiers in Afghanistan by sending in fresh wet behind the ears boys or did he transfer them from Iraq? See, your words make it seem like he recruited more but in fact, he used who was already in combat in the illegal occupied country. Twisting facts to suit your desires doesn't change the facts. We should get out of Iraq since we are the terrorists there.

Why was there such a big circus for Sotomayor? Why all the bells and whistles? Because the GOP wanted to be sure that even though she was gonna make it, they HAD to show their colors (pun intended) and prove how much money they could waste to try and keep a Hispanic out.
AC W. Aug 4, 2009, 10:12pm EDT
"When Obama said he was gonna pull the troops out, what happened?"

Is he the Commander-in-Chief or not? He doesn't care about differing opinions on domestic policy, so why would he care about differing opinions on foreign policy? Or are you saying he's beholden to special interests?

Think about what you are saying here: "If it was solely up to Obama, the troops would be back home instead of, yes, terrorizing innocent people."

It was solely up to him, as Commander-in-Chief, to double the number of U.S. forces in Afghanistan, to continue the rendition of terrorist suspects to third countries, to allow the CIA to continue to operate short-term overseas detention facilities, and to expand unmanned drone attacks inside Pakistan in violation of Pakistani sovereignty.

"Did he double the amount of soldiers in Afghanistan by sending in fresh wet behind the ears boys or did he transfer them from Iraq?"

The answer is both. He has diverted troops scheduled to go to Iraq (but no troops have been shifted directly from Iraq to Afghanistan) and he has increased recruiting efforts to expand the Army by 30,000 new (believe your term is wet behind the ears) troops.

Did it occur to you that not everyone thinks Sotomayor is a good enough judge to be on the Supreme Court? Are we all supposed to think alike? What a boring world that would be.

Oh yeah, by the way, the GOP tried to put a Hispanic on the Supreme Court. His name was Miguel Estrada and he was shut out by Democrats.

If it weren't for the continued availability of Leroy Carr and Scrapper Blackwell, the Aleatoric Party might consider Ronald Reagan. His not being apolitical would not work in his favor. Carr and Blackwell's slogan, since 1992, has been "They're apolitical and they're dead."

I'm really happy to have a president who can speak in complete sentences and express himself coherently.
*Carol ~Bronx Southern Belle D. Aug 3, 2009, 1:19pm EDT
Well, if that's your criteria for president, I'm sorry for you. I'd rather have a president who doesn't lie, and isn't a racist.
Marilyn M. Aug 3, 2009, 3:00pm EDT
Me too, Carol.
Nippy Katz (not his real name) Patriotic Troll of Gather Freedom Aug 3, 2009, 3:20pm EDT
Those are two criteria that are always nice to have in a president. I'm pretty sure that neither Bush nor Obama are racists. Bush was a a horrible fibber. Obama, so far, has only committed the usual broken campaign promise stuff you expect from all politicians.
Jennifer R. Aug 3, 2009, 3:43pm EDT
I would like to know when exactly did Obama become racist?
Johnice R. Aug 3, 2009, 3:47pm EDT
"Well, if that's your criteria for president, I'm sorry for you. I'd rather have a president who doesn't lie, and isn't a racist."

How did you come up with that one? How did I miss that before? Racist! Black man = POTUS = Racist--just how many of these racist POTUS have there been? Regan was openly racist and quite a few more--after all how do you explain the thousands of Blacks with the sir name of Jackson and Jefferson, to name a few? Remember he (POTUS is the child of a Kenyan father and a white American woman) who grew up in Hawaii with white grandparents. What a reach!
Lori F. Aug 3, 2009, 5:14pm EDT
I dont think Bush was a racist he just didnt like poor people.
*Carol ~Bronx Southern Belle D. Aug 3, 2009, 6:13pm EDT
Obama racist:
1. His minister the Rev. Wright
2. His wife's comments.
3. His calling the police stupid in regards to Gates.
I could go on but most don't want the truth. They want a handout.
Robert S. Aug 3, 2009, 6:33pm EDT
My Carol you are full of BS aren't you?
AC W. Aug 3, 2009, 8:52pm EDT
"...he just didn't like poor people."

Yeah, that's why he reworked the tax tables to completely remove 11 million low income citizens from the federal income tax rolls. I wish he would have disliked me that much.
Jennifer R. Aug 3, 2009, 9:28pm EDT
those things don't make him a racist Carol. You are trying to make him guilty by association. Should everyone be judged simply by the people they know? I don't think so. Nor do I think any of those people you listed are racist. Racist is such a strong word and i think before you start throwing it around I would be sure of the title before I bestowed it upon someone. Also I agree the police were stupid when it came to Gates.
Johnice R. Aug 4, 2009, 7:05am EDT
Carol, and what pray tell has your minister or priest told you and the congregation. It was not LOVE thy brother or was it? I would not want to hear a sermon on hate anymore than I would sit still to listen to a hypocrite and child molester wearing a robe. If you think Rev. Wright is a racist preacher then you must think the same of all Black men of the cloth-who, FYI are not pedophiles but married men helping their neighborhood.

Carol, dear, we as Americans can talk about anything we choose and the big problem with having that Right is that ALL who hear, interprets the same message quite differently. Clear your heart Carol and your mind will follow. BTW...your other two examples fall flat and do not warrant attention.

Because you're not reading the bills being proposed.

You read what? There is no bill.
Jennifer R. Aug 3, 2009, 9:32pm EDT
I've read the documents that are available out to the public. I read the bills being proposed as your friend Marilyn has just stated. You're not tripping me up here. I do make educated decisions before I make them. Just because they don't aren't complicit with your own doesn't mean I haven't given them thought or come to a conclusion that matches my own beliefs.

I just do not understand how people can speculate and condemn the actions of the POTUS when everything he has done requires time to become effective. The "Cash for Clunkers" program just received a refill of several Billion $from the House--the Senate will kill it or pass it. This is one program which worked so WELL, Carol, that the funding ran out.

The other issues you have with a Democratic President are so Palinesk I just shake my head. 200 days in office and the only thing the GOP and their followers can agree on is that they want to disempower the POTUS at all costs. I think they call that treason.
Bunny B. Aug 3, 2009, 12:02pm EDT
:)
*Carol ~Bronx Southern Belle D. Aug 3, 2009, 1:20pm EDT
How many days do you want? 201 when we're all communists, and broke? Will that do you?
Johnice R. Aug 3, 2009, 2:06pm EDT
Well let us take a look; we spent EIGHT YEARS under a court jester dressed like a POTUS while Dictator Cheney did the real dirty work. They left a 12 trillion debt, and left D.C. under security guards (FBI). I call this current administration HUMAN and HUMANE, intelligent and caring about the folks he serves. In time he will make this World a better place for me and if you stay, for you too.

Have you looked up treason lately? The GOP and the extreme right are coming very close. There is nothing in the agenda of the admin of POTUS 44 to indicate to the mentally enlightened that he is condoning or advocating communism. Show me the proof of your accusations and I will reconsider, until then calm down and think good thoughts for the future.
Johnice R. Aug 3, 2009, 2:07pm EDT
You are in good hands with POTUS 44!
Marilyn M. Aug 3, 2009, 3:02pm EDT

And facts please.
Jennifer R. Aug 3, 2009, 3:45pm EDT

the war in afghanistan was started under Bush and was going fine until he let Adolf Cheney distract him into attacking Iran. He allowed the banks and mrtgage companies to create the housing crisis. we are lucky he didn't crash that plane into the aircraft carrrier. JC Watts, good quarterback for OU, if I recall has his own financial crisis with business he ran, so I don't think he need to be in charge of the economy
*Carol ~Bronx Southern Belle D. Aug 3, 2009, 1:22pm EDT
So we'll put you in charge, and go further into debt. We are now a debtor nation, and we don't have health care yet. Nor do we have a health care plan.
Johnice R. Aug 3, 2009, 2:19pm EDT
Carol,

We will get there, if you contact your Senator and Rep espousing your support for the Health care package reform that will bring us closer to getting things done. POTUS cannot move without congress so yell and scream at them support the POTUS and soon life will be good again.

As far as a Nation in debt is concerned, when have we not allowed foreign investors to engage in U.S. economic ventures? I voted for Kennedy in the 1960's and I recall a big stink that Asians were buying American farms--that was titled the end of the world yet, here we are.
Johnice R. Aug 3, 2009, 2:22pm EDT

Marilyn M. Aug 3, 2009, 3:03pm EDT
Johnice, you need to read history. You need to see where this country is headed under this administration and compare it to history.
Johnice R. Aug 3, 2009, 3:23pm EDT
Dear sweet Marilyn,

You need to realize that we are in the 21st Century and history is changing as we speak not just today's history but facts of yesterday and centeries ago are being re-written to uncover the lies and coverups which were written into the libraries of out Noation.

I take strong exception to people I do not know nor have I ever met telling me what I NEED to do rather than opening their mind and understanding that the world is larger than the marbles rolling around in their heads. If you knew me you would not address me like I was one of your children.

If you want to chastise someone try the people who drove this Country into deep unnecessary debt and thrust us into a senseless war for no other reason than to make a profit on their personal investments and for their oil and big business friends. Read, that is what I do for a living and I will happily tell you that reading is only one way to achieve knowledge one must use their own mind in order to develop it.

Hmm...I don't claim to be an expert on US history since I tried to concentrate on Greek and Roman history when I was in school, but any history major has to take a bunch of US history regardless. It seems to me that Obama is trying to get us away from the dictatorship the previous administration was aiming for. Furthermore, it looks like Obama is going to reverse the trend of having government be a sock puppet for business interests.

Carol, you have expected "overnight" recover. Not gonna happen! There are signs of recovery.

Improvement in the economy will be gradual. We see signs of improvement now, but Obama does not have an over-night miracle to perform.

These are some early some signs of recovery in my state, Texas, due to the stimulus package.

With less than one third of the stimulus allocated and only a percentage of that in effect, Texas is beginning to show results:

69,000 transportation jobs

$800 pay raise for public school teachers

$1.7 billion in other education projects

No cut in Medicaid!

$12 billion to balance the state budget

Is the stimulus plan working? Slowly it is. We cannot expect an overnight miracle. Let's be patient.

*Carol ~Bronx Southern Belle D. Aug 3, 2009, 1:40pm EDT
I agree with patience but I don't believe we'll get there by more spending. I thought a stimulous was to help Americans like you and me, not AIG and GM.
Johnice R. Aug 3, 2009, 2:10pm EDT
The latest independent authorities on the economy say that POTUS 44 has NOT spent enough! Do you know something they do not? The stock market is up and nearly at the 10,000 mark this is progress you can count on. What are you afraid of?
Marilyn M. Aug 3, 2009, 3:04pm EDT
Right, Carol. Only businesses can spend more to make more. It doesn't happen with government. We keep spending money we don't have.
Nippy Katz (not his real name) Patriotic Troll of Gather Freedom Aug 3, 2009, 3:28pm EDT
Hmm...some economists believe that. Others believe that government spending is critical in times of economic trouble. While the New Deal programs didn't cure the depression of the 30s--it was, after all, a world-wide economic collapse--there's no question that the US was better off than it might have been under strict laissez faire.
Johnice R. Aug 3, 2009, 3:30pm EDT
Sweetie, big baseness does exactly that--spend money to make more. The U.S. Government is a big business it has collateral and that is the working people of America. Shut down the government and who do you calls to repair roads, bridges, put out fires, deliver the mail and then there are the police?

We tax payers pay for those things and much more or, do you think you can live without the services of Government?

Hey Leo,

What will you do at the end of next year when the stimulus money ends and the 69,000 transportation jobs go away, the pay raise for public school teachers can't be paid for, the education projects end, Medicaid gets cut, and the state budget goes back to a deficit because there isn't any more federal money flowing and the spending patters haven't changed?

That's the problem with the stimulus--it's not a solution, it's a band aid!
Bunny B. Aug 4, 2009, 9:04am EDT
We go back to the Bush doctrine of fattening the wallets of his buddies and we continue to suffer. But I am gonna wait to see if the new POTUS can use the chance he has been given instead of being negative about it from the get-go!

"So what have you given us Mr. Obama: Higher unemployment than under Bush, a war in Afghanistan, haven't freed the terrorists in Gitmo, but one, and no thanks for that anyway, and insulted police officers but managed to have a beer and show the world what a racist you are!

If I sound angry, I am and I'm not alone!"

I think you sound crazy, and unfortunately I know you're not alone.

Seriously, Carol. Go to the Google Finance page and check out the market. Then, start to check out the links to articles from industry papers like Bloomberg. I think your version of what is happening right now is a bit off. I think you should stop reading and reacting to the silly emails going around about ridiculous stuff and start actually looking at what is happening out there in the world. And learn a bit of history about our involvement in Afghanistan, would you?
Nippy Katz (not his real name) Patriotic Troll of Gather Freedom Aug 3, 2009, 4:36pm EDT
I'm still nervous about the employment situation, but there's no question that financial markets are regaining confidence and that housing is starting to turn around. Whether or not it can be ascribed to Obama's efforts is hard to say. It's a safe bet that any recovery that might be happening surely isn't the result of anything the Bush administration did. :)
Sheryl O. Aug 3, 2009, 4:55pm EDT
Nippy - unemployment typically lags 12-18 months behind the end of a recession historically. It just makes sense that if durable goods orders, and car sales, and home sales are starting to move, that soon employers will be looking at hiring again when there is again a need towards the end of the chain. A very good indicator is the increase in raw materials orders and shipping. The wheels are starting to slowly grind again.
Bunny B. Aug 3, 2009, 5:11pm EDT
Sheryl, that would take too much time for them to invest and then actually find the truth. No, they'd rather sit and bitch and moan JUST because the man is half black. There really is no LOGICAL reason why anyone would not be prepared to give this man a bit of time to see where his ideas will go.
*Carol ~Bronx Southern Belle D. Aug 3, 2009, 6:17pm EDT
Bunny,
You are an ass! I really resent asshole who claim people who don't like Obama don't like him because of a percentage of his race. Those that do are the racists. So Bunny is hopping racist.
Ali Hussein Lopez Aug 3, 2009, 6:30pm EDT
Bunny, looks like you struck a nerve. Good work!
Robert S. Aug 3, 2009, 6:41pm EDT
Spew that hate Carol, show yourself for what you are.
Jeanne H. Aug 3, 2009, 6:51pm EDT
Carol,

When you repeatedly call someone a racist, without legitimate reason, simply because you don't like his politics, you had best be prepared for some of that mud to be slung back at you.

Copied from merriam-webster.com for your edification.
rac·ism
noun
1 : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race

Just because the majority of people who disagree with Obama happen to be white, does mean he is racist. It means disgruntled neocons are using an emotionally loaded word in a desperate attack to stop the country from making much needed progress.
Bunny B. Aug 3, 2009, 7:01pm EDT
Not a donkey but a bunny. Why else would anyone NOT give him a freaking chance. Admit it ostrich, you have a little hate/racist/bigot vein running down in your heart. Shame on you.

All of your comments and posts have no validity to them. So, what excuse do you have?
M. Bradley McCauley McCauley Aug 3, 2009, 7:51pm EDT
Come on Bunny--surely you are wiser than that. Come on sweetie, I disagreed with Bush--does that make me anti Texans--and I don't think we have to give Obama too much longer--he is allowing his advisers to flush him down the drain just as Bush allowed Cheny and Rumsfield to do it to him. Now please, knock of the racist crap--if you can't come up with anything better than that, you shouldn't be commenting
Jeanne H. Aug 3, 2009, 7:54pm EDT
I believe Carol was the one to start the "racist crap."
Bunny B. Aug 3, 2009, 8:50pm EDT
I will comment as I wish and as I see it. If she wants to whine about a man who was elected to office and has yet to be there a year and wants to blame EVERYTHING on him then she is either ignorant or racist. You pick which one then.

Bush was just an idiot and why would ANYONE want him back?

If Carol has ANY logical and valid reason to spit on the guy, let her post them. But I bet it all goes back to "well, he just ain't qualified and he ain't a citizen and he is a muslim ect...." the same racist ignorant spew that got him elected in the first place.
Jennifer R. Aug 3, 2009, 9:43pm EDT
True read that article. Carol threw out the racist card first.

Delusion much, Carol? Jesus, no wonder you morons fall prey to such idiocy as the kooky birther movement. Look at the complete BS you immerse yourselves in on a daily basis.

Next time you're pondering why it is that your kooky fringe party of raving loonie toons is firmly out of office, and will be for many decades to come, try to take into consideration the fact that you're all utterly unhinged from reality to begin with. You people are just flat out stupid, that's all there is to it, and the majority of this nation has firmly rejected your stupidity. Sorry!

I'm not getting into this Bush vs. ambush fray here but, you know, it is fun to watch you all, in a pathetic sort of way. The fact is that bringing back Bush would do nothing but perpetuate the incompetence and oversight of an administration that was self-serving, and the ambush of the Obama administration, its MO to attack by surprise with lies and deceit those believing in anything that seems anti-Bush to be change and hope, (though they are so numb these attacks are unnoticed and seem, at best, like a feather across the instep) is the same old propaganda that builds a rift in the United States of America with the same long-term devastating results, no matter who is at the helm. There's only so much gravy you can put on a bad piece of meat to mask its putrid nature, but some never taste it so they need to keep eating until they vomit.

You can go on and on with your factional arguments that lead nowhere different, call each other names, each believing in your own autonomous perfection, but it does nothing for the end result, at best serving to provide me and a few others the critical answers to only WHY we are in the mess we're in, but still with no resolution in sight to the grave problems we face. What can I do but laugh? Would I rather cry?
Robert S. Aug 3, 2009, 6:42pm EDT

If you're going to write an article criticizing somebody for lying, it would probably work better if you told the truth yourself.
Robert S. Aug 3, 2009, 6:44pm EDT
Not so Wil, She and Marilyn can lie to further their warped opinions because they are holy. Cna't you tell from their rhetoric.
Jeanne H. Aug 3, 2009, 6:58pm EDT
Only if by "holy," you mean their "facts" and "truth" have more holes in them than I have patience to deal with.

"Not so Wil, She and Marilyn can lie to further their warped opinions because they are holy."

You mean TheGawd™ wants them to lie?
Jeanne H. Aug 3, 2009, 7:51pm EDT
Wil,

Of coarse not. But only they can see the TRUTH. The rest of us are blinded by those pesky facts and knowledge and logic. Carol and Marilyn are doing their best to spread the TRUTH by calling everyone they disagree with racist, and being generally unpleasant and illogical. It's the Christian way. ;)
M. Bradley McCauley McCauley Aug 3, 2009, 7:56pm EDT
I think the ultra left are running scared---they see their own party members starting to pull away from Obama--they see the administrations vain attempt at making changes failing and they are getting more scared than I've ever seen them. You're going to see even some moderate Dems pulling a way from him--they know his failure will reflect on them.
Jeanne H. Aug 3, 2009, 8:09pm EDT
The only thing scaring me here is the nonsense you lot are spewing. It's complete fiction.

It's been six months, people. Unless Obama has a magic wand stashed some where, we're about where I expected to be. Recessions are not supposed to be laugh-a-minute, fun experiences. It's supposed to suck. Hopefully we learn from past mistakes, and make better policies and decisions to prevent similar future problems. But it's not supposed to be easy. I realize change is difficult, but you are not helping make anything better. The system is broken, so let's fix it. And by "fix it," I don't mean keep kicking it until it dies.
Bunny B. Aug 3, 2009, 8:53pm EDT
WHAT?? No wand? Oh no, the GOP has been duped again!!
*Carol ~Bronx Southern Belle D. Aug 4, 2009, 1:13am EDT
Oh, the Grand Old Party not duped. It's the Obamatron sheep that all say, "Obaaama."
Bunny B. Aug 4, 2009, 9:08am EDT
Ya'll thought a man, ANY man, could solve ALL of Bush & Friends shitpile of economic turmoil? Ya'll really think someone should have all of the GOP's crap cleaned up ALREADY? Not even a freaking year into office and ya'll expect a miracle?

Seems like ya'll are the ones who are saying, "Obaama!"

It's not republican or democrat it is the man. Obama can speak as long as he has a teleprompter. Who cares if someone is a great speaker if he is a great liar. I want a president that doesn't have a personal agenda and is looking out for the interest of the American people.Obama is not the man. You all need to llook into Acorn, SEiu and his companions. Take an honest look. I want a president that has morals and a value system. One that believes in the Ten Commandments. I don't really care what party name he goes by. but I really don't feel the democrats have any morals or values. I want a president that reminds me of the forefathers that this nation was found on. I want a president that believes in the constition. Party is irrelevant.
Bunny B. Aug 3, 2009, 8:55pm EDT
When did we EVER have a politician with morals? You're funny.
Ali Hussein Lopez Aug 3, 2009, 9:01pm EDT
Yeah, I want a president that believes in the ten commandments.

Of course, it didn't stop presidents from owning slaves, or perpetrating genocide on native populations, or lying our way into wars, or looting the treasury, but at least they were white guys, right Randi?
Jennifer R. Aug 3, 2009, 9:46pm EDT
Like Bush belived in the Constituion Randy? I mean didn't he Cheney pretty much rewrite the whole thing....
*Carol ~Bronx Southern Belle D. Aug 4, 2009, 1:12am EDT
Ali,
You are so good at America bashing. Where did you learn that self loathing? Or is just Republicans you loathe?
Jennifer,
Grow up.
Bunny B. Aug 4, 2009, 9:14am EDT
Ali, most slaves were black from Africa so they HAD to be slaves.

Oh and the indigenous people of these American lands were just wasting it so they got what they deserved....plus, they were dark skinned.

Well, all is fair in love and war so we have every right to declare illegal war even though we knew it was all a lie about the WMD.....but. did you see all the money made?!?! Well, not Joe Q Public but lots of companies with gov't contracts made billions.....oh, and most were "affluent" already and had ties to Bush and Cheney! How'd THAT happen?

Oh Ali, you seem to know the secret here.....it is about race.
Ali Hussein Lopez Aug 4, 2009, 9:35am EDT
Bunny, you got it.

Carol;

I'm not America bashing, I'm stupidity bashing, so no wonder you're feeling it.

Pure evil of the elite;
[T]he insurers have played the inside game, spending about $40 million on an army of lobbyists and lavishing campaign contributions on Democrats and Republicans to kill the public option. In all, the health industry spent $133 million in the second quarter alone, more than a million bucks a day.

And over the weekend, the association, which represents 1,300 insurers and HMOs across the country, told POLITICO’s Mike Allen that it was stepping up its activity, advising members to confront representatives critical of the industry at August town hall meetings.
Bunny B. Aug 3, 2009, 8:56pm EDT
And all that money could have helped.............US!!
Randi Burnham-Brown Aug 3, 2009, 9:23pm EDT
I did not say we did I said that is what I would like. But as I look back over your comments you look a bit mean.
*Carol ~Bronx Southern Belle D. Aug 4, 2009, 1:10am EDT
A bit mean? Randi, you haven't met mean until you meet the Obamatrons. They know how to destroy, and mock, but intelligence not found in that group. So they think we should pay for their stupidity.
Johnice R. Aug 4, 2009, 2:18pm EDT
Possibly that is the problem, folks not made of College material have grave difficulty understanding broad topics and engaging in critical thinking with logic and understanding. Take Palin for a wonderful example, not the brightest toy in the box but certainly the loudest.
Bunny B. Aug 5, 2009, 8:37am EDT
Yeah but she's perdy!! He he he he......
Robert - just a simple man - B. Aug 5, 2009, 5:18pm EDT

Maybe if we all start reciting the Pledge of Allegiance whenever the usual suspects post any type of anti Obama claptrap....they will get the idea.
It is supposed to be a good tactic to drown out out sanity and expected to be effective for the disrupters the GOP is frantically grooming.
I'll start...............

I pledge allegiance............
