The First Lady and the Obama girls were big hits in Paris Saturday as they toured the Notre Dame Cathedral. Thousands of Parisians and tourists cheered when Malia and Sasha waved from a balcony high on the gothic cathedr
al. (Daily News)
This is the first international trip the girls have taken with their father since he became president. Judging from the adoring crowds, he had to take a back seat to the Obama women.
Following the tour of the cathedral, President Obama and the first lady had dinner at a restaurant near the Eiffel Tower. On Sunday morning the First Family viewed modern art at the Georges Pompidou Center before the president headed home. Michelle and girls however, who are staying a few extra days, spent some time with French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla to celebrate France’s Mother’s Day. (Daily News)
Monday is Sasha’s eighth birthday. What better way to celebrate than spending the day in Paris?
Keeping security unusually tight, the itinerary for the remainder of the trip for Michelle and the girls is being kept under wraps.
Undoubtedly, their trip will unfold in newspapers around the world!

Hi Cheri.
Isn't just wonderful how the election of President Obama has changed our image throughout the world in general and France in particular?
Gone are the days of the antagonistic "Freedom Fries".
Gone are the days of calling France part of "Old Europe".
Gone are the days of FOX News calling for a boycott of everything French.
The United States and France have always had a special relationship. It's good to see the damage repaired.
I can't get enough of seeing Malia, Sasha and the First Lady. They are the definition of family. They are true role models.
I thank the people of France for their kind treatment of our First Family. Glad to be friends once again.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Sasha. Stay as you are. Never change. I look forward to your contribution to American society in the future. Enjoy your childhood.
Thank you Cheri. Keep up the good work.
Lloyd

It is now our top FEATURED post.

I totally agree, Lloyd! It is wonderful to see "humanity" in the White House again!
Spartan, the more I think about it, I can't believe how disrespectful we were to the French over the last 8 years because they used their indepedence and didn't blindly go along with the wishes of the previous administration.
Do you remember this quote?
"You're either with us or against us."
George Bush was referring to France even though he never mentioned them by name.
Lloyd you said "it" better than I could have!
Well said, Lloyd.
Absolutely!!! Good comment!
It is really great.
feeling
Yes, I agree!
It really is nice to see our First Family embraced by the world! What a change....from jeers to cheers!
1) Date Night New York
2) Date Night Paris
3) Family Sightseeing/Shopping tour in Paris.
It is as if the Obamas are using the Presidency as a taxpayer funded travel agency and sightseeing service.
hmmm....and all those trips Bush took weren't???
Don't forget...President Obama was there on business and left already.
Oh really, Poliwonk ... he can't have fun with his own wife from time to time ???
Hey, no! the Shrub used up all of the vacation time for his 8 years and for the next 16.
Good lord no, Peter, it's just not done!
Hearing about the Obama girls touring Paris is so much more refreshing than hearing about the Bush girls driving drunk again.
All first families have travelled. That is part of their role as unofficial ambassadors for the country. This is only an issue because it is Obama and the right is determined to heap as much scorn on him as Bush earned and received over the years, and have no intention of waiting until he deserves it. Because that day may never come.
Its is no issue for me. I just don't care. The lives of celebrities have never interested me in the least.
This is idol worship. Proven to result in the death of millions. Oh wait, it already has!
What? what is idol worship? And who caused the death of millions? I'm confused.
Well, perhaps Obama's war totals haven't reached millions just yet. They will before his term is up.
Idol worship? Worshipping idols of course!
Sounds like you are a worshiper of Bush. He started the wars, they are Bush wars....not Obama wars. Obama is left to clean up all the messes Bush made...wars, economic recession, alienated all our allies...and antagonized our enemies.
Don't blame Obama for all the messes Bush created.
No, Bush isn't in office, Obama is. If he doesn't claim them, then tell him to end them right now. He's making the decisions, unless you are saying Bush is still making the decisions and Obama is calling him up saying "ok, what do you want to do now?" Otherwise they are Obama's wars despite your statement.
they are Bush wars....not Obama wars.
lol, I don't know, Tony. It looks like Cheri said they are Bush wars...not Obama wars. Either Obama is in office and directing the course of events or he isn't. He can't have it both ways.
Ok, then it must be Congress' wars, both dems and repubs, if we are talking about who sanctioned the wars.
I never said Obama asked to have it both ways. I said Cheri said they are Bush wars...not Obama wars. Please show me where I said these are Obama's words? It would seem you are twisting my words.
Our military is in Iraq and Afghanistan, in a total of 130 countries around the world right now. Some have been put in places for close to 60 years. Are we still to say the current administration can't claim responsibility for any situation that arises there if something goes wrong? Why, because another adminstration has put them there?
No, actually please don't. I know what I said and what I didn't say. This little argument, at this point, really doesn't matter. I've already stated I am listening to this man that I didn't vote for, and will give him the opportunity. I fully disagree with this particular statement about whose wars, whose problems, who started this, who started that. The blame game is just old and tired. In order to start new, this admin has to claim ownership to the country as it currently stands and move forward. Fighting symantics is just continuing the blame game and not progressing.
Have a great day, Tony.
The fact that Bush started both wars is of no consequence to Obama's critics on the right. The fact that wars are not things that one can simply declare over and withdraw from without possibly endangering the troops engaged in them or creating a worse problem by forming a power vacuum is of no consequence to Obama's critics on the right. Just like the fact that the economy collapsed on Bush's watch is of no consequence to the Obama's critics on the right.
Facts are of no consequence to the majority of the right wing these days.
If Bush had taken a big steaming dump in the middle of the desk in the oval office (and that is a good analogy for what he did) the right wing would be blaming Obama for the smell. They'd probably want him to wipe George's butt for him, too.
The intention of the right is to smear Obama and try to blame all the Bush catastrophes on him. They started this even before January 21st and they will not let up. We have to get used to it.
I personally blame Obama for not asking congress to repeal the Patriot Act and all the little acts that followed it. i.e. spying on Americans, Homegrown Terrorist Act etc. The first 100 days should have been largely spent cleaning up Bush's mess.
That is why he was elected. He was not elected to spend us into obilivian.
Wait, you are still here Col....I thought you were tricked into reading this and that you had no interest in this whatsoever?
I agree that it is nice to have a President who builds friendships.
Thank you! It is so important after all the fences and hard feelings that were cultivated by Bush & Co.
Who really cares, really. I don't. I just see it as a lot of taxpayer dollars going down the drain so the first family can have a fun weekend. Big whoop.
Apparently you don't....so why are you reading this post?
I read the article because I was so befuddled as to how anyone could be so blind about one family? I am trying to understand the spell this family has over so many. And, the last I checked, it was still a free country and I have an opinion and the right to express it! :-)
Yes, it is really strang to have people in the White House that people like instead of hate.
George, you seem to be a person of advanced age, if that is you in the photo. I would think that hate is a very strong word, wouldn't you? I don't hate anyone in the White House if that's what you were implying by your comment. I find it very odd that people are blinded by what is happening in our nation and seem to focus on the "bling" rather that anything of true substance.
The substance of it is that President Obama and his family are fostering closer ties to America's allies. Bush spent eight years offending the rest of the world, dictating the terms of their loyalties, tarring people and nations with unfounded accusations, pushing a foreign policy that violated treaty obligations and international law.
The Obamas are an impressive family: intelligent; well-educated; a normal-nuclear family. That alone is a nice role model for the nation, a position often served by the first family. Add to that the fact they are not the Bush's and you have an explanation for the euphoria they engender.
While euphoria may feel good for a little bit, how is this helping us with the deficit and the threats that are growing around the world from rogue leaders? It seems to me that the world has already turned their backs on the Obama's when it comes to policy based on what we're still doing in the world, and making fun family trips isn't going to change that.
Must be nice. I think it was a selfish move on their part to even go. We have to pinch pennies while they do Paris?
No, President Obama was there on a peace keeping mission, or did you forget that part? He was meeting in Saudi Araba on a foreign relations meeting, then on to Cario to give a momentus speech regarding foreign relations, and in Germany and France to honor the dead from WWII. All of that is extremely important! Get your head out of the sand.
Did you complain when Bush and wife went on all their trips? Probably not....but of course, that was different. He was busy pissing the world off.
I'll bet she complained when the Shrub was on vacation in Crawford and didn't read his briefing papers that warned about the airplane attacks on the U.S. I'll bet she really complained when it became news about those briefing papers, but all of the administration said they didn't know anything.
Well, they really can't win when it comes to spending money. If Michelle wears a $9.99 t-shirt it's headline news and people are scandalized, if her dress is too expensive it's headline news and people are scandalized. People are going to complain no matter what.
The president had a misstion, but not the wife and kids. I'm with Janet. Another of the first family's unnecessary pleasure trips at our expense. At least with Bush, if he did "piss off" anyone, they also knew he meant business. Countries are laughing at us now. They cannot believe how blind people are about how the government keeps taking control of everything and the people deny it's heading down a socialist road. Or already there. Amazing.
Tony, I was talking about other world leaders.
But now that you mentioned it, isn't it a shame that no comedian is brave enough to make fun of Obama? There were comedians who mimicked Clinton, Bush, even Reagan, Carter, Nixon. Where is the comedian making fun of Obama? It's not that he's not funny...it's that they're afraid. That's sad.
Ha! Good for you Tony! There are some that in their arragant conceit think just everyone must follow their lead. Aint happenin'!
Cheri Cabot,
His trip is justified, but her "taking Paris by storm" vacation is not. They should pay for their vacations like the rest of us who are just barely making ends meet at home. And they just had a date night in New York, coulda stayed close to home in D.C. and save the taxpayers money.
In a short time our president and his family have tremendously improved our image abroad. Remember how Bush damaged it? I see that taking the children helped.
If you must criticize the family representing us abroad, you are really looking for something to nitpick about and to make Obama look bad.
Leo, what world are you living in? The elections abroad have told the true story of who they want to run their government, and it's not the Socialists. I'm sorry, but the Socialists in one country are thinking of changing their party name to the Democrats because of their losses in the recent election. I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with you wholeheartedly on that image comment you made.
Thankfully, a very different world from yours. I read your comments and posts and see a very negative attitude.
ditto, Leo. I live in your world....one with a wonderful president that is sending a positive message around the world.
Perhaps Barbara B. lives in the "same country" as Miss California....in her country same sex isn't allowed.....
And that is the whole of it, Leo. The right wing are grumpy about all the scorn that millions of Americans and many other around the world had for George Bush. The fact that Bush earned that scorn with policies the brought the world to the brink of the kind of conflict not seen since the end of WWII, that cost tens of thousands of lives based on lies, that violated international treaties made America untrustworthy, that ruined the world's economy is not important to the right, they are feeling hard done by.
They are sore that they lost so completely in the last election: lost the White House; lost the Seante; lost Congress; lost some governors' mansions and lost the respect of many Americans. They are vengeful about it and determined to fight back, to attack.
They have decided that Obama will be blamed for all of Bush's failures in the hopes that people will have forgotten in four years who broke the country. They have decided that Obama will be blamed for everything he does, for everything he doesn't do and for everything done by anyone they can link to him by fact or fiction.
It is a smear campaign and it will be in high fear and full throat from now until at least 2010. Maybe if the Republicans lose even more ground in that mid-term election they will learn that the tactic is not working, that they need to look at their own shortcomings instead of trying to make some up about others.
Don't bet on it, though.
Wow, Rory! You have a powerful, outstanding way with words. I totally admire your style.
My thanks, kind sir.
Has anybody bothered to see what the bill to the government was with this trip? I don't see numbers, oh, and if you have numbers, I fully expect you to post the same information for the last person in the white house. Give me a break people.
It is good to see somebody exhibiting real family values. It is great that his children are with them. Having your father as president would not be easy, they are fortunate that their parents spend as much time with them as possible. They should be able to witness their father building the bridges the previous administration tried to burn.
Thank you Lisa! You can believe that "Mission Accomplished" stunt Bush pulled using a helicopter and battleship wasn't cheap!
AMEN! We are still totalling the damage from the last administration.
The neo-cons complaining about the trip have failed to mention the basis for the trip was to repair foreign relations damaged by Bush & Co. The price of those damages are two wars, thousands of deaths, an economic recession.....put a price tag on that!
I didn't need this man apologizing for my country. I thought that was the weakest thing a President could do. Disgusting.
So I guess that you don't believe in apologizing for your mistakes Marilyn? That sounds pretty petty and disgusting to me.
What's disgusting is all this fawning over Obama and his family.
I doubt if the Mission Accomplished thing cost as much as the photo op with Air Force One over New York!
Yeah, if the Bush administration taught us anything, Marilyn, it was "never apologize".
After eight disasterous years of mistake upon mistake upon malfeasance upon derilection of duty all Bush could manage to say was that the "Mission Accomplished" banner, which was not his doing, might have been a mistake.
Adults admit their errors, take responsibility for them and apologize. It is not weakness but maturity. That is what Obama has done. America gained immense respect for his having the intestinal fortitude to do it.
Bet Sasha will get a scrumptious French birthday cake!
I bet she did too! Turning 8 is always a big deal! What a way to celebrate.
Wow, this post sure did generate a lot of views! I think the next generation would be greatly improved by being exposed to foreign cultures at a young age. They are born into an increasingly intertwined global community, and it's good for Americans (as well as people around the world) to have some exposure to new ways of thinking and doing things. The Obama children are lucky they have that opportunity, but any parent that can afford to do that for their child (or a niece or nephew or godchild) is giving a truly special gift.
The number of views just shows the interest in the Obama family. If you do a Google search about their trip to Paris, this post is listed 3rd! Pretty cool...and explains all the views.
Wow...this article is the Number One on the Google Search for this topic! What a trip!
I was tricked into reading this garbage. I could care less about celebratys
are doing.
I guess the most powerful person on the planet could be labeled as a celebrity. Not an American idol, but a worldwide idol. There's nothing wrong with us or people throughout the world liking our President. We are better off for that.
You've got to admit that President Obama is the "Man". A strong President capable of reading the riot act to our foes and friends. What other World leader could speak in Cairo, Egypt and lay down the law?
What other American President had the nerve to tell Israel to stop with the settlements? None. You are witnessing a true World Leader. Get on board and enjoy the ride.
I get the feeling that many who oppose this President are just plain jealous. Get over it. It will tear the fabric of your being apart.
The American people and people throughout the World will never accept behavior similar to that of the last 8 years. Yes We Can. Yes We Did.
Ha Ha Ha! What a crack shot comment! Lloyd, you da man!!!
Elizabeth I'm glad your recovery, rehabilitation and detoxification has begun. Now take two aspirins and repeat after me. "YES WE CAN".
Yes we can .... dupe enough people to win an election! lol
Better than allowing a Conservative Supreme court deciding who should be in the White House. Key words - "win an election." That he did with support of over every demographic range here in the United States. That a lot of duping, don't you think so?
"What other American President had the nerve to tell Israel to stop with the settlements?"
About every one of them Lloyd.
Lloyd, He won by a margin that was hardly a mandate but he won and that was a tribute to his financial backing, positive press, and the ability to speak.
George, though I support Obama I agree with you that the adulation many are pouring on him is misplaced, for his sake and ours. When you put someone on a pedestal there is nowhere to go but down.
You forgot a major factor in Obama's victory: how angry Bush made Americans at the Republican party.
Lloyd, people such as Elizabeth and Col. George will never be on board. Rather than just ignoring an article about a topic they obviously don't like, the felt the need to spew their venom instead of just passing it up. They are miserable people and want everyone else to be miserable.....so let them wallow in their misery.
Meanwhile....those of us mentally healthy can enjoy our president and his family and rejoice in the fact that he is a marvelous president who will restore our country to it's rightful standing in the world community.
Tony, havent you realized it yet. They hate their own country so much, that they have to attack anyone that actually tries to show their concern for her.
Cheri, All I said was that I have no interest in celebrity gossup. That is not hate toward the Obama's That is a statement of fact.
BTW I read that this trip was something Mr O promised his wife before the election therefore I suspect the trip was on his bank account.
"Dan R. Jun 9, 2009, 10:03am EDT
Tony, haven't you realized it yet. They hate their own country so much, that they have to attack anyone that actually tries to show their concern for her."
Dan, how do you come to such a conclusion? We are the only ones here supporting our President's efforts and giving him credit for repairing our worldwide image.
If you take a close look at all the replies to this post, you'll see that it is you and others hating our President, thus hating our Country.
BS, Lloyd. I don't have to love the current president to love my country. I didn't see a lot of love for our previous president. Does that make all who disagreed with him and his policies haters of the U.S.? The last time I looked we still had free speech ..... for now, that is.
So the fraud is getting a free ride, and making the country look like the vilians of the world, and look at all the support for the Anti-Americans he is getting. Such a shame most of them are "Americans" who vehemently show their hatred for their own country....
Actually Tony, the only business trip Obama needs to make is to the local federal penn, for criminal fraud, and Forgery of legal documents.
And there we have it, folks, the smear campaign at full force. Absent a reasons to criticize Obama, some on the right have manufactured the claim that he is not a citizen. Surely one must prove citizenship to merely get their name on a ballot, otherwise Republicans would have had Schwarzzeneger run.
You see, accusing Obama of being "born in Africa" is code. It is code for "nigger", but they know if they use that word they will be called out for what they are.
And Rory, what reason have you never used? Ohhh yeah, the well documented falsehoods told to you by your masters.
So your statement then proves the lack of information you have ever chosen to accept, and the fantasies you are willing to believe,
I wish I could go to Paris. Sigh!
What a wonderful opportunity for the girls to visit Paris. I agree with Christine - the more we are all exposed to different cultures the more expansive our view of the world can be. Imagine seeing some of the art and architecture of Paris through the eyes of these young girls. I'm sure they'll always remember this trip.
You are so right MaryAnne. I'd rather have our Secret Service looking after these 2 little girls as opposed to playing hide and seek with the Bush twins as they party in South America and loose their cell phones.
The difference is night and day. A slam dunk case favoring President Obama and his family.
It's probably a much easier job for the Secret Service. Luckily the Obamas have little girls who'll be partying later on in their lives. Maybe they'll even smoke pot like their old man or try coke.
It's more like that they will soon be representing you in some form or fashion. And you can take that to the bank.
I'm glad Pres. Obama took the family I'm sure the trip was educational for the kids and it could be that Pres. Obama is trying to build bridges instead of burning them for his own kids and every kid in the US.
I enjoyed reading your article and all of the comments afterwards. I too am happy to see real people in the White House again. The Obama's are a breath of fresh air in Washington. I hope the girls have a great time in Paris.
I'm just sorry that an innocent piece of pop culture has to turn into a political battle ground. Why can't people just enjoy this for what it is? Information about our first family. The dad had business to attend to - very important business - the kids are out of school, so he invited his family to join him for a couple of days of the trip. Rather a nice gesture since he hasn't been able to spend much time with them the last 2- 4 years. I think it is well deserved, and as Col George pointed out very likely paid for with their own money...at least the women.
Also, Col. George....my point to you is...if you don't like this kind of post, then why do you even read it and then take the time to complain? Wouldn't your time be better served reading something you are interested in?
I get so very tired of constantly being bashed. I know it comes with the territory of political writing....but one would think that writing a little fluff article about the First Family would be a fairly safe avenue. Apparently not.
I see that the Obama ladies served as good-will ambassadors.
KoolAid attack! Getting sick! Must contain too much sugar or a mind-altering drug.
Cheering is deafening! Have Obamas been mistaken for SuBo? Can't take American Idol style thunderous applause!
Sinking fast! Beam me up, Scotty! There is no intelligent life on this planet.
Yes, the positive response the world over to the Obamas must really grate against conservatives who are used to hearing only condemnation from the world.
Uh Rory, I hear there some teachers and cops in Indiana who aren't too positive because the "Champion of the Middle Class" gave their pensions to the UAW.
But, I guess you can cheer for whatever floats your boat.
Ok Randy. What have you got against my girlfriend Susan Boyle ? SuBo would be a proud Democrat if she lived in the United States. Take a few minutes, click on to her link and listen to someone with as much talent as President Obama.
Tony. Randy was the one that drew her into this political debate.
"Cheering is deafening! Have Obamas been mistaken for SuBo? Can't take American Idol style thunderous applause!"
I love SuBo. Too bad I can't say the same for our President.
Obama is repairing all thd. When i was last in Paris at the end of '04, i had friends with me from America, they were quite unpleaseant to my friends and when I asked why, they said "Bush!".
Yikes!
That's odd... I spent 12 years in Europe and never ran into a French person (and I was there OFTEN) that will ill toward Americans. Must have been the crowd you chose to associate with!
What an odd comment. I was born in england, went over to France at weekends a lot, they didn't have a problem with America's politicians till Bush, oh maybe when Nixon was going through Watergate.
i was 'hanging out' with my friends from the US when I heard from the Parisians, of the people, the cafe owners and restauranteurs and the docents in the louvre, those 'people' I wonder what sycophantic people you were applying yourself to?
My son lived abroad for 3 years, during the Bush term. He got very tired of people asking him why we elected Bush and complaining about him. Bush was not liked in other countries, but Obama is already a rock star. That is a good thing for our country. His family are good will ambassadors which we sorely need. All countries do that....send their heads of state to visit other countries. It's called improving foreign relations. Reaching out a hand of friendship is much healthier than calling everyone an enemy.
This trip has been called an "apology tour", and there is nothing wrong with that. After 8 years of Bush & Co. we have much to apologize for to the world. The first step is recognizing the mistakes that were made, and begin to make amends. I think it should be called a good will tour, which is exactly what it is, no matter how the neo-cons choose to frame it.
I have a similar story, Cheri.
Right after Bush won in 2004, my daughter and some of her college friends went over to England to visit a friend who was spending the semester at Cambridge. They took the train all over and spent a couple of days in Edinboro. They went into a cathedral while there and were looking around when an older gentleman came up to them (dressed as a guide) and introduced himself, asking if they would like a tour. They said that they would very much appreciate a guided tour. He then asked if they had voted for Bush. They all said very quickly that they had not and were not fans of his. With that, the guide smiled and said, "Well, then let's get on with the tour."
Americans do not realize just how much people in other countries disliked Bush and his policies. He may have been able to make nice with their leaders, but the people are another story entirely.
I think it is wonderful that the girls have a chance to travel with their parents. I am overjoyed that the WH now has a real family I can admire, one whose feelings for each other are open and warm and real. Laura Bush always reminded me of someone who absolutely hated her life - with George, under the thumb of her evil MIL, with a lot of things in her past that they were holding over her head. It's her life, I suppose - if she wants to sell her soul, it's her business, but it's still extremely sad.
Cathi,
Which war was started by Obama? I'm having difficulty recalling that. I do remember Bush starting a couple of wars, the first of which I totally supported him. The second was not in the best interests of anyone except possibly Saudi Arabia and Haliburton.
Cheri,
Your article has generated some interesting and surprisingly diverse comments! I am a little surprised as the number which seem to have the flavor of pure jealousy although it is understandable. That is the result of adversarial politics.
I must say, I have found Col George to be quite honest in his beliefs and a reasonable person in the way he presents them. I've never seen him be vindictive or hateful in his responses where I've read them. I do disagree with much of what he feels is the way things should be.
Your comment about this being a "safe" article should be accurate but until factor in the hatred that many seem to have for Obama, there is no way to write a safe article. The vindictiveness runs too deep. Don't give up trying!
I was wondering how Col George got "tricked into reading this"? Either you read it or you don't....nobody can trick you into reading anything. Read the headline, and if you are not interested, pass on by and read something else!
Instead, after getting "tricked into reading this" - I still haven't figured out how that works - he chose to whine and complain about it. If it's such a waste of his time....why is he taking the time to whine and complain in the comment section. Move along....nothing to see here.
Not to fear, James, I will continue to write! The freedom of speech is too important. It gives everyone the chance to voice their opinions, on both sides of an argument.
Fortunately this is a public forum, and ANYONE, naysayer or idol worshiper, can comment on what is written. If negative comments were ignored, then the focus could be on the content of this article instead of the neener, neener, neener stuff.
I understand that there are people here in my country, the United States of America, who are struggling with job layoffs, lost pensions, uncertainty about the future and so on. I struggle at times as well, but I certainly don't begrudge the President of the United States for doing what Presidents do. They travel... this family promotes a lot of goodwill among people. I think that is great.
There are times when I see pics of Obama's smile, that I can't help but smile also. He looks young and at times a bit cocky. But I find that endearing. Michelle Obama has brought a "Jackie" Kennedy style of grace to the office. Good for her.
And their girls... they're just girls! Little girls get excited over stuff ! It's refreshing... Go girls! I'm glad they have a father who I'm sure is not engaging in online disgusting activities, using foul language every other word, etc. I say, "Good job, daddy Barack"
On the political side of things, I hate seeing a 'bigger' picture and fearing where the country is going in the long term. It's worrisome.
But, hey for now.. Let the good times roll !
Would those going through hard times have the Obama family sit in the darkened room without electricity to show solidarity for their pain?
If Obama doesn't 'feel' for what's going on with the unemployed and downtrodden, he wouldn't be human, now would he? However, this is where he is NOT the Messiah... he's one man and he can't cure all the ills of the country.
spending government money on vacations......
obama getting us in more debt
Michael D.; "spending government money on vacations......
obama getting us in more debt"
This is pure truth. But then we know when Obama got in, that concern for the country would play little to his judgements.
thanks!
