Bush was critisized and the Bush supporters said the same thing as you are now. Being president means you will not please all the people all the time.
And if you take a closer look at the article I think prompted this rant and follow the link the only person calling that Angie Harmon a racist for speaking out against Obama is Harmon herself.

This is the story. And if you notice I read the same article on Angie Harmon as you.
Someone from gather posts an article with links to a Fox news story on actress Angie Harmon spoke against Obama and in the Fox news title it said the racist thing.
I go to the article. Read it and go to the link showing the original story from Fox news.
The headlines say she is a being seen as a racist but no where in the body of the story does ANYONE call her a racist.
So I ask the author and she says that Harmon is being DEEMED a racist.
So I say who is doing the deeming.
And it comes out that Harmon and Fox news feel she is being looked at as a racist for critisizing Obama.
No one actually said she was a racist but her and Fox news.
Lead your sheeple to slaughter Carol.

I think it's hilarious when the followers of the most corrupt and inept administration that ever sullied the White House have the temerity to call anyone who doesn't agree with them "sheep". These are the same people who identify themselves with their great leader by saying "ditto", which means "I promise not to dispute anything you say, no matter how patently ridiculous it is". They're zombies, they're the walking dead.
The facist right controls 90% of the radio waves. They're afraid of the implementation of any type of leveling mechanism because they know that markets where it's allowed to compete, progressive radio is kicking butt. They can talk about attacks on Fox News, but since a preponderance of them use it as their only news source, Fox will always have good ratings, despite their lack of actual reporting. Their motto is "When in doubt, go to the Rove playbook".
So we've got a bunch of zombies talking about people who they don't agree with and calling them "sheep". As we'd say in the old country, "Pot, meet Kettle".

I prefer The Week magazine where major issues are presented on one page with 4-6 different views: left, right and center.
My prediction is that, because of these policies, the republicans will re-capture majorities in both houses in 2010 and we'll have a new president in January of 2013.

And, as to the liberal bias of the media... Which media? Radio? The radio air is dominated by the insanity of Sean Hannity and the Bloviating Blowhard of EIB, and their pale imitators. Fox News is not only biased, it lies as a matter of policy. Print and mainline TV news reporters are more likely to be liberal, I suppose... but that's only because they're generally well educated.
One of the silliest charges I see levelled at liberals is that we're college-educated "elitists." Well, DUH!
The Right has no viable alternatives. Barak has done more in these 2 months than Bush did in 8 years. Bush only cared for lining his own pockets and keeping the old boy network alive. his agenda was to bleed as much as he could from America and high-tail it back to Crawford. Which is where, if memory serves me well, he was right after getting elected. The campaign having worn him out so.

Yes, I have called some people stupid for making comments about Obama. Generally, those are the people who lack the ability to write in complete sentences and don't know the difference between UR (an ancient civilization) and the contraction for "you are."
And yes, I have accused some people of being racist in their comments. But I'm not sure how else to explain accusations that Obama is a closet Muslim or that they are replacing the White House Easter Egg hunt with a watermelon hunt.
And any arguement that begins, "I'm not racist, but..." generally ends up being very racist. Let's be realistic here.
So, yes, a lot of Obama's detractors DO get called stupid and racist. But that is only because so often they present themselves as stupid and/or racist.

Some of what the lefties now are saying though is true. Some righties questioned the patriotism of anti Bush types. Ironically, that is the same tactic the lefties use for those who dislike Obama. However some of them also toss out the racist label as icing on the cake. Of course it makes it right to do so because some righties labeled them...very logical in their eyes I guess.
I see Obama taking in account opposing views far less than Bush did though. Not a good sign so early in his administration.
What a crock, duing Bush Ann Coulter was calling for Liberals to be tortured, and Michael Savage was calling Liberalism a mental disorder while the other right wingers followed suit. I do not hear the left using any of that kind of rhetoric, while I still hear the right using the alarmist namecalling stuff, socialist, communist, and over-hyping everything they think could go wrong, but to support the same old stuff that has been dragging us and the economy down since Reagan.
