Dobb introduced an admendment cutting off bonuses and was pressured to lessen the loophole by the Geithner/Obama contingent.... He did and is paying dearly for it. My question is.... what other admendments were offered and by whom? Did ANY other politican offer an BETTER admendment? Where were Reid and Pelosi... and Obama? Hmmm....

Be as mad as you want toward Dobb... but don't make him stand alone in shame... LOTS of others need to be held accountable as well. Dodd has taken on the image of the "fall guy"... the sacrificial lamb, so to speak.

Scary... wonder how that makes other Senators feel about authoring "controversal" or "politically damning" admendments or ideas. I would expect many to be a bit standoff-ish after this incident.

A.I.G. and their employees donated to all the politicians campaigns--including McCain. They covered all their bases.

Obama's campaign was the second biggest recipient of contributions from A.I.G. The funny thing was that he claims to like to know what he is talking about before he speaks. Since it took him 3 days to respond to the A.I.G. fiasco does that mean he is admitting that he doesn't read spending bills before he signs them?
