President Obama is taking your questions on the economy this morning until 9:30 eastern time. He will answer questions at an 11:30 news conference. To ask your question go to:

www.whitehouse.gov

Submit your question, and the president will answer the popular questions.

Post your questions on the economy and vote
on submissions from others. The President will
answer some of the most popular on Thursday.
UPDATE: The online town hall is at 11:30 AM Thursday, the voting will close at 9:30 AM.

Why not require banks who receive bailout money to reduce debt of Americans who owe them money by some percentage as a way to stimulate the economy?
This is my question for President Obama.
