I thought I would take a turn with an "Obama Eligibility" article.  I saw this at my Yahoo mail news:

The Supreme Court has turned down an emergency appeal from a New Jersey man who says President-elect Barack Obama is ineligible to be president because he was a British subject at birth.

At least one other appeal over Obama's citizenship remains at the court. Philip J. Berg of Lafayette Hill, Pa., argues that Obama was born in Kenya, not Hawaii as Obama says and the Hawaii secretary of state has confirmed. Berg says Obama also may be a citizen of Indonesia, where he lived as a boy. Federal courts in Pennsylvania have dismissed Berg's lawsuit.

Obviously the Supreme Court declined to hear the appeal because they know it's the truth and don't want to waste time and money. :)

Was this the Donofrio case that also included McCain?

He joked about being from another planet when they did the annual roast, LOL. This was all so ridiculous. They turned it down because his birth certificate is in the vault, and veryone on the Hill knows it, but common lawyers and their ilk can't accept it. They must all be from Missouri the Show Me state. I want to see their birth certificates.

I would hope that all of this was settled before he was even allowed to run. I'm not an Obama fan but I'm quite sure his status was checked many times and he will be president come January.

That title is hilarious, Peter but, in a way, it's sadly appropriate. The Supreme Court wouldn't be MAKING Obama unqualified, but I suppose to some, the ruling DOES MAKE him qualified. What a country we've become!

According to one of our more prolific Obama-haters here on Gather, the fact that the SCOTUS declined to hear the case is just more evidence that a vast, evil conspiracy really runs the world. Yup, and they're really lizard creatures who came here from Sirius to suck our brains out, and they've successfully integrated themselves (in disguise, of course) into our society, taking over the leadership structure of the entire world and ruling at their own whim. Free will? Pshaw! No such thing; the lizards sucked it right out of us, along with our brains!

I'm gonna have to quit clicking on any article, no matter how good, concerned with Obama's birth certificate, or any ruling there of, on any lawsuit concerning such. It does seem to suck my energy level, therefore I think the invading Lizard theory must be true.

BTW, y'all can read all about David Icke and his conspiracy theories here. He seriously believes, and writes and teaches about, a race of reptilian humanoids from a star in Draco (sorry about the Sirius above; por recall, I guess) who are the "Illuminati", that mysterious elite group that rules the world. Go read the Wikipedia artlcle I linked to; it's great entertainment.

And yes, I equate the Obama-isn't-a-citizen fanatics with the Icke people, and the we-didn't-really-land-on-the-moon people, and the flat earthers, and the John Birch Society, and all the other wackos who believe that "they" are out to get us.
