Something is very seriously wrong with John McCain. Honestly. Normal human beings do not wish misery and death upon other human beings, particularly en masse, the way that this dangerously deranged fool does.
The BEST that can be said about this latest idiotic comment is that it was some sort of twisted, sick "joke" attempt from a truly diseased mind, which makes it also absolutely unfitting as a comment from one who wishes to become president. Our nation deserves FAR better than this.
The worst that can be said about this, and that which I actually believe, is that this is what John McCain truly thinks like. He DOES wish misery and death upon fellow humans, and his "jokes" in reference to that is merely a reflection of his dark, evil mind.
I think the guy had his brains scrambled while rotting in a Vietnamese POW camp for years. This is absolutely NOT the type of mind that we want in the white house, kids. We've already had almost 8 years of a diseased, twisted, evil mind in that position. This nation, and the world, will not survive another round.
This man needs to be put in a straight jacket and led away.

I don't agree with him on many issues and never have considered casting a vote his way. But that line was a slap in the face for all POW's who suffered miserably. I don't get why that had to be thrown in.
I wonder at his age if isnt in the beginning stages of dementia.
Hitler, a corporal.
Idi Amin, a general
Pol Pot, a general
Son of Sam, US Army
People have to understand just because you are involved in circumstances 40 years ago that make you patriotic and heroic doesn't mean you have free reign the rest of your lives.
"But that line was a slap in the face for all POW's who suffered miserably. I don't get why that had to be thrown in. "
No, it wasn't a slap in the face for all POW's. It was a slap in the face to ONE pow, who has failed to support veterans and POW's in his position as a senator, when he's had the power to do so, and who has proven to me to be a person of low character, unworthy of my deep, abiding respect. I respect that he served, but deplore some of what he's done since, frankly.
I also do not consider him to be worthy of automatic hero status, simply because he was a POW. Based upon his military record, I question the validity of the label, and to be honest, surviving 5-1/2 years of living hell in a POW camp, while certainly admirable as a human success, isn't anything more than abiding by own's deepest, most primal instinct of survival. He didn't throw himself on a grenade to save his pals, or swim across a croc infested swamp to rescue children. He was shot down while dropping bombs indiscriminately on men, women, and children, and then was taken prisoner, and lived in a POW camp for years.
And, personally, I believe that it has caused serious, irrepairable mental damage to the man. Based upon things that he says and does (his raging, hair-trigger temper, for instance), he simply has no business running for the white house, imo. Could I have made that point more elegantly? Sure. But, I didn't.
Neither do I, dear. I wasn't "hating" anyone in my comments, merely pointing out my opinions.
Absolutely NOT. He doesn't get another free pass on "poor humor" from me. He should know by now that he is not funny.
I wasn't a McCain fan when this campaign started but still thought he was probably a nice, somewhat reasonable man. A situation that I consider similar to this changed my mind. I can't find his exact words, but he called on people to not only judge, but "denounce" the people they disagree with. I do know he used the word "denounce" because it struck me as irrational and way over the top.
moderately diseased , how about disputing the FACTS instead of coming up with but Obama/Clinton/Carter/Johnson/Kennedy/Truman/FDR ?????
I will so miss you scum being in charge and with the new spying powers given today , I wouldn't want to be a neocon.:-)
Pay back's a bitch.
Alrighty then. Let's hire the insane guy that wants to cause mass suffering and deaths instead.
"Yet when I look at your articles all I see are negatives articles about McCain,"
I'm not through assessing Sen. Obama quite yet. I'm convinced that he's leagues above McCain, but am not ready to consider him above the fray, frankly. I have serious concerns about his refusal to take a stand against the current FISA bill, for one thing.
"You must have nothing positive to say about your guy Obama,"
I'll get something out there, and might even do a similar article on McCain as well, although there clearly is very little positive to say about the latter.
" It's just gotta suck being Clark. This dipshit hates everything. Radical Liberal piece of shit. "
Excellent refutation once again, genius. You never disappoint.
Every man and woman who is enlisted in service "fights" for you. This war was a ruse by our government and yet I highly doubt you would go up to a service member and say you "NEVER fought for my freedoms or rights". Many of our service men joined the service to make a difference. Many of them are coming back mentally unstable and it is not fair and not their fault. Even though they joined into the service on their own that does not mean they should die, be prisoners of war or suffer in anyway.
Now I am not a McCain supporter, nor an I an Obama supporter. I support America! I support our troops and I support freedom of speech. Luckily the men and women who died for us allow me to support those things. You can say what ever you like do to your freedom of speech. Your lucky.
I think cutting someone up simply because of their hard times is a low blow. Yes, McCain seems to get confused at times but that is for each voter to figure out and decide if they want that kind of president.
And I don't think it's age that is McCain's downfall. I know a lot of men and women(mostly monks and nuns) way older who are very sharp. For whatever reason, McCain is not. Obama is quick and intelligent and has a firm grasp on the Constitution. I don't think there's anything wrong with having a smart, well-spoken president.
Why are people so against education is this country? George Bush had one of the best educations available and he talks like a moron--and people identify with him. Why?
In his case, I'd say that his military service should be one of the key determining factors to convince people that he's NOT fit to lead. He graduated near dead last in his Naval academy graduating class, and it's arguable that the only reason that he was allowed to pass was that he was the heir to two generations of admirals, and was in line to become the navy's first 3rd generation admiral.
In spite of this paved-street lineage, he was denied advancement. Some believe that this decision was based upon the fact that he simply is not very bright, and that he had a nasty habit of crashing the Navy's planes. At any rate, the fact that someone who was so much in line for a top position was flat out denied that top position is certainly worth noting.
"Why are people so against education is this country? George Bush had one of the best educations available and he talks like a moron--and people identify with him. Why?
I believe that the "right" has successfully created a wall of ignorance with regard to education. It's no grand secret that the more education one receives, the better chances they have of leading a "successful" life, and it's also no great secret that the republican party has been working for decades to ensure that only those with wealth attend higher education.
They have succeeded, imo, in creating a negative view of higher education, in order to fool people into believing that education did not matter. That a George W. Bush or a John McCain, two obvious dimwits, could not only graduate from esteemed higher education facilities, but could rise to the level of party nomination for presidency only serves to re-inforce this view.
Bubba steered clear of higher education when Limbaugh and company started to tell him that education was evil. Now that Bubba and his family are uneducated, he wants a "leader" who appears the same. The duller in appearance, the better, because then Bubba can relate. Otherwise, the candidate might be viewed as an "elitist," which, of course, is today's code word for "evil, educated person."
In a day of immediate broadcast of soundbites, gaffes may be more public. But the misidentification of countries, non-understanding of economics, and stubbornness McCain displays -- however helpful in surviving captivity, is not an encouragement when the man is to be a leader of freedom.
McCain has used very judgment in letting these kinds of comments fly - and it actually could be related to whatever it was he suffered as a POW. This brings up a salient point: perhaps the man is simply not equipped to be a leader. The American public will never know what happened to McCain while he was imprisoned - and we will never know the true and ultimate effect it had on his judgment and mental stability.
As an aside, he's ruined the Beach Boys for me!
Most moonbats have very little respect for those who served, certainly, Clark has made far worse comments in the past regarding our military.
Another flat out lie. He was shot down while targeting SAMs missiles. There was no "dropping bombs indiscriminately".
Clark,
I don't get it. He told a silly joke.
This "moonbat" served, coward. Why haven't YOU?
"Another flat out lie. He was shot down while targeting SAMs missiles. There was no "dropping bombs indiscriminately". "
He dropped bombs from the sky. It's highly unlikely he didn't kill a single civilian.
Worse, of course, was that, after crashing his FIFTH plane, he surrendered, rather than try to escape.
"Clark,
I don't get it. He told a silly joke. "
Rational, sane people that care about human life don't joke about causing mass human misery and death.
And if you are talking about Sandy in the rocking Chair, Lois you know your going to hell for that. It clearly states I tried and sufficated a REPUBLICAN old bag not a demi..
Please take MJ's pickle out of your ear and get back on track dearest!
Hey whiney little dipshit, why don't you go crying to your mommy?
Two words: low life.
My older brother joined the Navy for six years... .because he pissed off my dad and he was given the choice of being homeless or doing something with his life.
My younger brother was gung-ho and joined because it was what he wanted to do... he was Special Forces/Airborne.
