Leave aside, for a moment, that the entire system is corrupt to the core and shattered to a near useless state. Leave aside, as well, any particular partisan leanings that you have. Is there one single politican, amongst the current crop of presidential candidates that you would absolutely, positively REFUSE to cast a vote for, regardless of your partisan leanings?
I have to admit that I have more than one. In fact, let's try this...let's try to choose one from each party that you would take this stand on. Name names and briefly explain why you feel this way.
Democrats:
Hillary. Sorry, ladies. I realize that a lot of you really like her, and my wife does as well. I'll be right up front with you in saying that I have no problem whatsoever in voting for a woman for the office, and in fact, have long believed that we'd be a lot better off with a woman in charge of things.
That said, Hillary is far too connected to the corporate masters for my tastes, and is at least as much a warmonger as most republicans. I can't support that.
Republicans:
Guliani. This guy is corrupt, morally and ethically bankrupt, and is a habitual cheater/divorce-aholic. We need to rise above the likes of George W. Bush now, not make a lateral move to another version of him. Frankly, I can't even believe that this loser is in the running and is actually leading currently. This is the "genius" that chose a mobster as police chief and then bragged about how well he did in cleaning up crime, shoved that mobster to the top of the heap for the position of head of homeland security, and oh, btw, managed to ignore the fact that first responder's radios did NOT work as they needed to AND placed his Emergency Command and Control Center IN THE WTC, the #1 terrorist target in the nation!!!!
Please nominate this puketard, repubs!

What the hell has happened to this guy? He used to be somewhat intriguing, but ever since he got gang raped by the Bush campaign in 2000, he seems to have become rather unhinged.
Hilary cannot debate and is in it for the money. She sure doesn't care about me or you.
Mitt Romney is a joke. Guiliani should not even be in the race.
Can you identify the lies that he's told for us?
"Hilary cannot debate and is in it for the money. "
She actually fared pretty well, by any measure, in the last debate.
As for "in it for the money," I think you could probably argue that all of them are, to one degree or another, "in it for the money." Bush recently stated with excitement that he looks forward to being done, so he can go out and make millions in speaking tours (who would actually pay to listen to that bumbling fool?). Clinton certainly made a few million, as has HW Bush. Reagan was probably too far gone by the time he was carted out of office to embark upon anything like that. Carter has made his share through book sales and speaking fees.
"Mitt Romney is a joke. Guiliani should not even be in the race."
True dat! Two of the most pathetic candidates to ever run for office, imo. You can toss Fred Thompson into that as well. Worthless. Just pathetic.
'
Isn't that a sad state for the greatest nation on the planet? In my mind, the only candidates truly worthy of the office are those that have been pushed aside by the corporate media.
" Would never, never, never vote for Hillary or Obama"
There are times when I am inspired by things that Obama says. And other times when I doubt his sincerity.
Isn't he a simply astonishingly pathetic POS? I honestly cannot imagine anyone being stupid enough to support that corrupt dickwad, but then again, I still see the rare "W-04" bumper sticker now and then, so there are clearly some very stupid people still roaming around!
How about :
Hillary " I have no soul and will do anything for power" Clinton
Barack "I'm an empty suit with nothing but standard leftist fare to offer" Obama
John "Doesn't my hair look nice" Edwards
John "I forgot to take my medicine this morning" Mccain
Dennis "What time is the mother ship landing" Kucinich
I will be voting for Romney and he will be elected the next president. I've been saying it for months now to the ridicule of idiots on the left and right..but I will be around come Nov 2008 to gloat.
He's clearly cast that way by the "liberal media," but, believe it or not, he's actually spot on with the voice of the masses on every issue.
"I will be voting for Romney and he will be elected the next president. "
Oh yeah, Gov. flippity floppity-Mr. Pretty. The man who changes his position every time the wind shifts! Nice choice! He's not going to make it past your religio-kook gatekeepers anyway.
"but I will be around come Nov 2008 to gloat."
I bet you won't.
Really? Do you understand what the term UFO stands for? And, do you realize how many brilliant people, including former presidents that you probably have deified, have reported seeing them?
"He is wrong on most issues"
In your mind, perhaps, but he is firmly on the side of the vast majority of Americans on every single issue of the day. So tell me, when everybody else is on one side of an issue, and you stand alone on the other, who is the crazy one?
"The "Department of Peace" will never work, but its a good idea."
The dept of war has worked brilliantly to produce wars. What makes you think a dept. of peace would not work to produce peace? Have you anything to back your statement up, or are you just casting a false hope that it wouldn't work?
"His plan for Iraq will never work."
And what we've been doing for the past 4-1/2 years has worked? Again, where is your evidence to back your statement? At least we have demonstrative evidence that the Bushovic plan to illegally invade and destroy does not work.
"His plans on gun control will never work."
And 30,000 handgun deaths each year IS working? Again, where is your evidence to back your statement?
"he wants to reinstate the fairness doctrine.
It would be horrible to level the playing field, wouldn't it?
"He has no plan to combat terrorism."
Wrong again.

What is Bush's plan? Invade and occupy every nation on earth? Kill every living person? That's not a plan. Bush has created exponentially more terrorism than there was before 9/11, and that will only continue to increase, the longer we carry on with this insane policy of murdering hundreds of thousands of innocent people.
"He is really more anti-Bush than pro-anything."
This is a negative? Actually, you obviously know next to nothing about his positions on anything. If you wish to speak to his policy beliefs, you could at least take the time to investigate what they are before spouting off.
"He has few positive things or anything constructive to say, which makes him very different from just about every other candidate, and thats why I could never vote for him"
What? You've clearly not heard or read anything that he's said. The man is a visionary, with a breathtaking view of what America could be. Oh, and he happens to be speaking what the majority of the public wants to hear. Too bad the "liberal media" won't give him a microphone.
Really? Do you understand what the term UFO stands for? And, do you realize how many brilliant people, including former presidents that you probably have deified, have reported seeing them?
"he would just go ahead and trash the consitution in order to implement socialist programs."
You have no problem whatsoever with neocons trashing the constitution in order to implement fascist programs, however. Why is that? Public funding for anything having to do with the betterment of society is an evil thing that cannot be tolerated, but public funding to enrich the oligarchs must be aggressively pursued at all costs. That's a pretty freaking diseased world view, if you asked me.
Btw, Jesus was a socialist. Why do you hate Jesus?

I do not condone the current strategy in Iraq, even though it is producing results. The current policy is, as you put it, 4 1/2 years too late. We should have had 150,000 troops for 5 years in the beginning. But he wants us to leave, and replace US troops with an international force. The world is, sadly, all but totally against the War in Iraq. What makes him think they will pick up the tab in Iraq? Its still a war zone! The International community usually is there for peace keeping, not peace making, which is what is needed in Iraq. He wants to ban US business in Iraq. He wants us to pay the Iraqi people. He wants us to spend more money! I dont really care if he is against the war. But I do care when his plan makes no sense. It will not work.
If you outlaw guns, then only the outlaws will have guns. It is our right to own handguns. He wants to ban them! I am fine with laws that protect people from gun violence, like background checks. The system is not perfect, and it never will be, but its the best we have to protect our constitutional rights to own guns.
The Fairness Doctrine is an attempt to limit free speech. Its targeting conservatives. People should not be forced to listen to something they dont want to hear. It is their right to listen to Consertative or Liberal programs. Let people chose instead of being forced. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that the political field should be leveled. Nowhere does it say that one opinion should get as much attention as another.
Thanks for the link, Clark. Its a good idea, and should be incorporated into our current fight against terrorism. That plan can prevent some of the causes of terrorism. But it cannot work alone. In the end, the best way to get rid of terrorists is to put a bullet in their heads or drop a 500 lb bomb on them. The terrorists of Saudi Arabia are not suffering from economic desperation. They hate America just because we exist and support Israel, and they will not stop until we are exterminated. Radical Islam was not created out of economic desperation, but out of hatred because of our existence. Leaving Iraq or Afghanistan will only create the conditions that Kucinich wants to end.
Being ant-Bush is not a plan for the future of America, just like being anti-Hilary is not a plan! The problem with American politics is that they think the American people are so stupid that they can be fooled into voting by bashing somebody! That is not a plan, and I am tired of it. America better get that. Kucinich is more anti-Bush than anything. He even wants to impeach Bush and Cheney despite the complete lack of constitutional and legal ground.
Clark, I have listened to Kucinich, and I am unimpressed, and so is the rest of the country. His own party even feels the same way. No wonder ht got less than 2% of the Democratic vote last year. He does not have a chance because his views are just too far out there, even for Democrats.
and
Rudy Guiliani. Fame based on 9/11 but nothing to back up whether or not he's a good politician.
It's good to see your back. You've been missed.
Of course I would rather take a beating than vote for a Republican. Among the Dem's my (I don't like them) list is topped by Clinton, Kucinich and Gravel. Clinton is a Corporcrat and Kucinich and Gravel are just nuts.
the Dem list is long but I'd have to say Edwards and Kuicinch tie for top spot
Based upon everything you have said here so far Clark, I am in perfect agreement with you and would vote accordingly.
I would vote for the dogcatcher before I would vote for Hillary.
Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~
For the most part, you are correct. However, Paul has some very disturbing issues that most would not be pleased with as well.
I support a Obama- Edwards ticket or an Independent( if electable) Bloomberg-Haggel ticket which has been rumored on CNN. I dont understand how anyone here could be to conservative to elect a Black man for President since you Conservatives have already elected a retard for President if we can have retard why cant we have a black man who is likely the smartest and most leaderly of all the canidates Republicans dont even have anyone who could truely match a Obama-Edwards ticket, they have a vision and have the courage and pose to present it; as for lieing about you history what about Bush being a former Crack addict I mean he obviously not one now but dont you think it would effect his mental capcity. Why are you focusing on people like Kuzinich and you're not even talking about his F.LILF ( On the Daily Show like MILF except First Lady Id like to.........) wife.
I realize that you're probably not aware of this, but a president can only be impeached for committing "high crimes and misdemeanors. They don't impeach presidents for having unique ideas, whether they make sense or not. Welcome to the real world again.
Did you happen to notice the little "lol" at the end? It signifies that I was laughing. You Lefties do understand humor when it's actually funny, right? Making fun of a kook like Kucinich IS fun. Try it, you'll be laughing soon too.
