Democrat or Republican?

Just wondering what everyone is. I plan on writing an article about President Bush later in the week. But i need to know what your party is for a peice of the article! Thank you!

Ok, I'm a Republican unless I like the Democratic candidate. Then I'm a Democrat. Then again if I am trying to keep someone out of office, I will vote on that ticket in the primary so that I can vote against them.

I'm conservative, so I guess I'm Republican. They believe we should keep our money and not give it them to spend in the ways they think we need it to be spent. Democrats think people are pretty stupid and don't know as much as they do when it comes to fiscal responsibility. And, the more programs they make, the more people will rely on those programs for their livlihood, thus keeping the Dems in power. It's all about power for the Dems in my opinion. And that's the way I feel.

Except for Dr. Ron Paul, the Republican / Democratic "choice" is somewhat like choosing an arsenic or strychnine beverage for your (last?) meal! I've been a libertarian since 1980, after hearing Ed Clark (pres. candidate) on Larry King's radio show. I think that both major parties, most of the time, just represent the tyranny of the status quo -- bigger government in an unholy alliance with the corporate sector. So while I definitely want Ron Paul to go all the way, also check out the third parties -- where many of the best ideas come from. If we could form a third party alliance with a high-profile candidate, we could actually hope to depose the age-old Republicrat rule. If you vote for one of those, more often than not, you are just hiring someone to steal on your behalf. So embrace the alternatives -- and inject bold new energy into the race!

Registered Democrat who, like Ed Sanders of the Fugs in his song "Wide, Wide River" finds it idiotic that every four years I have to vote for the lesser of two evils. I might vote for a Republican if I found one whose policies I like. But ever since it became the anti-Darwinist Party, I have little but contempt for the rest of their platform.

It's unfortunate that the American People have become, in general, such fervent Aristotelians, worshipping the doctrine of the excluded mean, that there is NO WAY that the two-party system will ever give way to anything approaching a true democratic republic (not the North Korean or Vietnamese or former East German version or any other version which uses the term today, but one in which the people elect representatives who truly represent them in governing.

INDEPENDANT I cross all party lines and don't like so far any of the current canidates stepping up to make a bid for the White House. I would rather vote for Mickey Mouse or Nigel. I am very angry at Washington State idiots who have tried to force the voters to choose a party and if we don't we can't vote in the primarys which is really stupid. Biased and denies my rights as a voter. Then again we have a cheating lying theif for a govenor so what else is new. She only cares about the west side of the state.
Destiny, I am a good old fashion conservative Reaganomics Republican......but I support: recycling, reusing and always trying to find renewable cost efficient energy sources (all of which I have business interests in) and women have the right to decide what to do to their bodies. By the way I really agree with Barbara B.'s comment. IT's not too early...RUDI FOR PRESIDENT....will be the sign in my front yard!
