It's unfortunate that the American People have become, in general, such fervent Aristotelians, worshipping the doctrine of the excluded mean, that there is NO WAY that the two-party system will ever give way to anything approaching a true democratic republic (not the North Korean or Vietnamese or former East German version or any other version which uses the term today, but one in which the people elect representatives who truly represent them in governing.
And continuing a war to get reelected isn't worse? Wake up and smell the tax breaks Barbara. Your kids and grandkids and great grandkids are going to be paying for W's folly.
