The news is that the opening for Stardust has been set for August of this year. I'm disappointed that the release is so far away, but I'm excited that it's coming. The book was great and the movie looks really good and exciting, with a fantastic cast including Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert DeNiro. I've mentioned before that I viewed a short preview and WOW! Apparently they decided to rework the website before releasing it, but the original website plan is still available for viewing and you can get some info on Neil and the movie, including photo downloads at http://neilgaiman.com/stardust/.
Stardust actor Ben Barnes (Dunsten Thorne) has also been chosen to play Prince Caspian in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. I'm pretty excited about that movie, too since the director of The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe said he was only doing one movie. Glad to see he change his mind!
As usual, Neil will also be appearing at the Comic Con in San Diego this July. I'm looking forward to seeing his panel, where I believe he'll be focusing on the movie Beowulf, which I don't know much about right now.
