Day 26 brought me some great progress despite my feeling tired I still managed to write a total of 3,171 words today. As a result of that large amount of progress I have won NaNoWriMo! :-)
The novel is nowhere complete. I figure judging from my plot outline that I am only 1/3 of the way through my plot, so there is still a long way to go. I will continue to write and post updates for the novel throughout NaNoWriMo. I might even post some updates after NaNo, but we will see.
As of midnight I stood at:
You can view my progress report here.
Here's my little widget thingy. Light green and red show where you were above or below the goal for the day, bold green and red are reserved for days where you did exceptionally well or monumentally badly.

Here's the confirmation screen after I uploaded my scrambled novel to the site:

By midnight on November 27 you should aim to be at or above 45,009 words.

I'm crawling along. I'm at about 42,800. The write-in with Chris is tonight (Tuesday). Hopefully, by the time he arrives at 8, I will be somewhere near 46,000 then the rest is doable in a two hour block.
Corina, I expect to meet you tonight at the Aroma Café.
Who are you Stephen King? That's a long novel.
I say you're halfway done.
LOL
Congrats. You won.
Help me get a publishing deal with a 10 rating and comment. I comment back.
Corina, congrats to you, too on your win!
John, I won't get a treat until Friday, but I did treat myself to a day off of the novel.
Raymond, no, I'm about a third of the way through. I have 39 plot points left and those are just my major plot points. There will be minor ones to keep the time line factual between each of those plot points.
The 50,000 words I have written now only covers 10 of my 51 major plot points. Since I have 36 remaining plot points, and TEN of them took up 50,000 words, my estimate of being 1/3 through the plot does not seem unreasonable or too far off.
You are AWESOME, and I am so glad to have you for a dear "friend".
I'll take more time reading in your NaNo Groups all over the WebWorld.
Thank you so much for all you do.
HUGS ~

Rene, YOU are the awesome and amazing one. Just look at everything and everyone you've inspired. :-)
Yes, my NaNo groups are scattered, but I only run a couple of them. The others are ones I'm just a member of, but they are still fun. I just posted my beginner's guide to one of the Yahoo Nano groups because there were a few members there that were participating and lost. Hopefully that should give them a good feel for the event and how things work. :)
THANK YOU for all that you do, too, Rene.
((Hugs))
