Prominent GOPer & Military Expert: Bush Admin National Security Team is the Worst in US History?

Some signs on this date of Bush giving up his failed 'stay the course' Iraq policy (2007). A prominent GOP military expert has blasted Bush Iraq failures, admitting to surprise at such incompetence. They are, perhaps, the "worst wartime national security team" in US History.

Also connections win out over experience in a key homeland security post(2006). Is experience really necessary? It's only Homeland Security.

It is pretty damning when a GOP military expert starts throwing out phrases like 'worst in US history' about his own partys commander-in-chief. Considering the source, it really is a very credible assesment.
