The world blew the wind away . . .
The world blew the wind away
Under the earth, the clouds receive rain
I work my hate
I runneth over my cup
My homework ate my dog today
I not wanted it any other way
The tears caused the pain
When life died, we began to breathe
It is a mouse ate cat world
Snowing fools and ambulance chasers
Writing songs with erasers
Banging chalkboards, the writing is in the dust
The peace fought the war this way
The blasts wiped the bombs off the ground
Little children invaded the troops
Peace declared but no one was home
Honest Politicians lie in their graves
Listening no one any day now
Raining in the singing
Dusting in the mind
Wonder do I why
Singing underwater
Hope ends the pleading
Band-Aids begin the bleeding
Friend will you be me
Pain will you take from me
Joy will you beat into my head
An enemy in need is indeed
The world blew the wind away...

Thank you Sheila J...
Is it truly a life turned backwards?
I mean we are being told that winning the war is wrong we must lose in order to be right
That children because they breath not air yet are not alive
That being challenged as a child to do better is bad for self esteem
That Al Gore cares about the Environment... evidence to the contrary
That believing in right and wrong is wrong...
That living immoral lives is not wrong just a different life style... so condemn me not when I eat my neighbors for dinner, after all that is the lifestyle I choose...
In a world where a little girl named AMBER needs to be remembered with a concept that strikes fear in every parents heart...
Get it...
The poem is not all that backwards.... but the world is ...
I am glad you like it Liz,
