The Pendleton Pundits entry, Habeas Corpus Denied, highlights one of the dangers of the Military Commissions Act of 2006. To the average citizen, Habeas Corpus may seem unimportant (since they are upright law abiding folks). But as the entry states: "Limiting Habeas Corpus could be used to deny anyone (not just evil doers) access to the law".
