I don't have definate facts for that one.
The rest are all in the news one way or another.
Thank you so much. I had no idea what to be concerned about until I read "Emmett's List of World Concerns."
What you should be concerned about is not getting the bang for the buck in the educatiion system. More dollars in...less education coming out. Left wing solution...throw more money at it.
China/Taiwan, unlikely as long as N. Korea poses threat that may involve MILLIONS fleeing in China if that crazy gook gets out of hand. I would knock that one off the list Emmett.
Chavez is like a little boy whistling past the graveyard. We can bust his balls without blinking an eye. His people will soon stop dancing to his tune.
Russia - very little concern by Putin about world opinion, he will crush any insurgency and a whole lot of innocents will probably be caught up.
Spain was not mentioned. France is fast approaching a 50/50 split in Muslim and non-Muslim populations, Denmark - same within 10 or so years, vilolence and intimidation has been succesful in advancing Islamic agenda.
Iran: the '12'ers' are eager to get that old caliphate outta the well and unto the throne. THAT is REAL and desired by the maniacs. If Iran gets the nuke, everthing else becomes moot.
Right now we have a Congress which is willing to support a president who is doing a creditable job in addressing all your concerns, Emmett.
But we may soon have a Congress bent on appeasing the terrorists, repealing the Patriot Act, stopping the NSA program to intercept terrorist communications to the U.S., removing all funding from Iraq (the stated objective of Charlie Rangel, the new chairman of the powerful House Ways and Means Committee), impeaching Bush and Cheney so as to make Nancy Pelosi our president, and convincing the rest of the world that we won't bother anyone. These are all oft stated Democrat objectives and I for one take them at their word.
Your lists, Emmett, pales to insignificance, IMHO, to our internal task of selecting our own leadership.
Best regards, Ben
