The timing could not have been better. November's coming, the House is getting fat, please take a feather out of Bubba's cap. Bill Clinton was walking into the belly of the beast. Those folks at Fox News (that's Faux News to those of you who like to think of yourselves as clever) were going to learn that Democrats can be assertive and tough when it comes to national security. Hilary would appear within 48 hours to verify the toughness and solidify her well-crafted image as a pro-military centrist AND a candidate for 08. So what happened?
Despite the spin portraying Clinton as putting that "bully" Chris Wallace in his place, our former president looked shrill and incredibly defensive. Bear in mind, I honestly don't know where the truth lies on this issue. Call me a conservative or a Bushie if you like, but one thing certainly distinguishes me from my countrymen on the Left: I am less sure of my guesswork. Not killing bin Laden was an error that ALL Americans have to live with, but this tour de force by the Clintons rivals any stunt that Karl Rove could ever dream up. Before you comment on what a right-wing fool I am, watch the footage again. Watch Clinton's body language. Watch him lean in to try to intimidate Wallace. Clinton does not look like a statesman defending his record. He looks like a bully caught in a lie. It's eerily similiar to another famous outburst of the 1990's by the former president. As they say...the best laid plans...

Fact 1) The congress was Republican run since 1994 and many budget requests were shot down by the Republican controlled congress. Granted Clinton did not spend the amount of money Republicans spent on Iraq now, but wasteful government spending forced Clinton and Republicans to make cuts.
Facts 2) We have been attacked by terrorists since the mid 70's and no one has been able to stop these fundamentalists. These are our modern day pirates... Groups who battle with fear and terror to gain money and/or power. Fear and terror is what terrorists use to push their despair in the world It seems like Bush and most Republicans rather use the fear to build more fear, rather than use the countries fear and turn it into ONE UNITED NATION with the goal of eliminating terror. We are too divided as a country... this is an undeniable fact!
Fact 3) Clinton tried to find and kill Bin Laden, but Republicans who were pushing an extra-marital affair to appeal to their conservative base, are now trying to pass the buck to Clinton for not doing enough when they were dragging his name and dignity through the mud for almost 2 years. Even with that heavy burden of daily news stories on this Ken Star witch hunt... (by some Republicans who had married their mistresses and had numerous affairs) Clinton still managed to take a few good chances at killing Bin Laden. When anyone says that Clinton waited too long to get the people who attacked the U.S.S. Cole because he waited to see the intelligence agency report... they don't seem to remember the fact that this current Bush Administration with Dick Chaney and the other collaborators for the Iraq War went into Iraq and attacked Iraq without a full investigation on their true involvement. Now we find that the intelligence was 100% wrong.
So what's better, a President who thinks things through, or one who acts on hand picked intelligence?
It's just too easy to see that Dick Cheney and Rumsfeld had a deep relationship with Saddam during the 70's and 80's... interesting to think about. It could be a coincidence... we just don't know.
Bush did NOTHING in his first 8 months and 5 years in office. Where is Bin Laden? Dead or alive? What happened to all the promises? Clinton admitted to not doing a good job... what a concept, accountability. Reagan, Bush Sr., and Clinton always admitted to errors during and after their terms. The BIG difference: Bush has NEVER admitted to an error; errors before 9/11, errors after 9/11, errors in the Iraq War, errors in Katrina. For GODS sake, BE A MAN AND OWN UP TO YOUR RESPONSIBLITIES!!! He is not a true man, a real American would show his/her mistakes and for Gee-duble-ya to never admite a mistake proves only one thing to this Republican: He is not a true American and needs to stop saying he supports our troops. His administration and REpublicans have had control for 5 years now and congressional control for over 10 years... anything that happens to our great country will be on him Good or Bad.
Be accountable Mr. President... be the man you say you are! Stop defending your ill-advised actions into entering Iraq when Afganistan was 10 times more important. How can anyone tear Clinton a new hole for not going into Afganistan for Bin Laden for the future attack of 9/11 (I didn't know he had a crystal ball) and let Bush take 75% of our troops into Iraq and NO ONE is tearing him a new one for letting Bin Laden still live after 3000 were murdered. SHAME on all who do not hold ALL of our elected officials to the same fire and questioning. Clinton did screw up, he admitted he did, and then stated facts of what he did... I am still waiting for President Bush to admit his ill advised plan to divert +$300 billion for the war on terror to go into Iraq... an evil country that has its power checked by Iran and Saudi Arabia, and in turn Iraq checked Irans power. Now Bush created Hamas leadership in Gaza, Hezbollah leadership in Lebanon, and his actions lead Iran to vote a moderate President out for a redical lonatic. Check your facts!
It seems to me that you are misguided. You must open your eyes and see past the right and left wing. They are only there to keep you from seeing the big picture. There are a class of elites that have inflitrated world's governments. Their life is not like our's. People like us rarely communicate with these individuals directly. Usually, we talk to their secrataries or assistant secrateries. These people are powerful, as the adage goes, "money talks and people listen." Similarly, "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely." All aspects of our life are heavily influenced, on the brink of control. Please get civically active in your communities, vote and become aware of the global world around you. This is our last chance.
