Yep, my Concord grapevines are definitely crankin' out the grapes this season!

They are looking like they're about halfway there. ~ LEICA V-LUX 1

I love concord grapes
Oh, so do I, Connie, so do I!
When they ripen I'm coming to visit!
It's about time, Tanya!
Of course, with your God-given (and well-demonstrated) propensity for far-seeing, I doubt if I'll even NEED to tell you when they're ripe!
The grapes have spoken! (***grinning***)
How is kitty doing? Any continuing problems since his surgery? He's getting up there in years, isn't he?
Real good looking fruit kemosabe.
You do know that I featured your grapes in a poem, don't you?

:+)
And please keep an eye out for my upcoming post "Goodbye Jonathan" - lol, in about five minutes.......
No, I didn't know--but I'll go look for them both.
They look FABULOUS!, Gerald. Congratulations on what will be a terrific harvest.
Thank you, Boni.
Uncle Gerry
mine used to always bloom in September! Now the birds and the rats eat them before they ripen!
Mine are up on my back porch in Bordeau wine half-barrels, so the furry varmits don't bother them, and my strawberries distract the birds, so they leave the grapes alone, fortunately. They don't eat that many strawberries, either, so I don't mind sharing with them.
my grapvine is being strangled by the bouganvilla as well, so the thorns keep the vermints away to some extent!
Oh boy! I'm glad you told me about the bouganvilla--I've been considering planting it on one wall of my porch, I like it so much--but I really don't want to endanger the Concords!
