Without a doubt the unrivaled master of the guitar (and the only man over 60 I know of that can get by with wearing a sea urchin spine choker), Jeff Beck, with vocalist Imogen Heap and 23 year-old bass guitar virtuoso Tal Wilkenfeld, performing Imogen's own tune "Blanket", from "This Week...Live At Ronnie Scotts".
Plus Rollin' and Tumblin'
* Jeff, in an interview, said of Imogen Heap regarding having her sing "Rollin' and Tumblin'---"I got her along to see how she sounded on a song for me--I didn't have anything prepared--and I just loved this song, 'Rollin' and Tumblin'--and thought, 'How ridiculous, to get this pure ENGLISH beauty singing 'Rollin' and Tumblin'---She just sang it, in her own style--we only did 2 takes and it was DONE...Fantastic talent!"
Lord, I can't get over how much she looks like an old girlfriend of mine!

Hey, tried to go to your Jimi article but a Gather blank page comes up. I have an original Jimi Hendrix LP from the sixties still in its original shrink-wrap, unopened, never played. It was buried in a box of used LPs I bought at a flea market. 35 albums including the unopend Jimi for $9.
Wish I knew how to do EBay.....
nice pictures

Imogen Heap, Jeff Beck, Tal Wickenfeld---BLANKET
I don't know about you, but as much as I was intrigued by Jeff's fingerwork on the fretboard, I just couldn't take my eyes off of Imogen Heap.
