My Dad Is Home From the Hospital!!

Whew..what a week. It was one where I need to go back to work to rest up from vacation. We have all had those kinds of weeks I am sure. Anyway, my dad was taken to the hospital by ambulance the other day after having what now appears to be an alzheimers related seizure. It was very scary to watch and he was pretty out of it for some time.

The medical staff was phenomenal with him and very patient as he went through bouts of nastiness to almost coma like states. I was glad to see the staff understood his needs so well as it is the hospital where he will be going if there are further medial issues with him. It is also where my mom works.

Her one co-worker that was working the night we took him in was absolutely astounding with him. She was able to be firm, but kind which was exactly the right mix. So, anyway for now he is home and he and my mom were of course glad to see their dog. LOL...It is funny, but he worried about that dog every minute.
