The Motion of the Ocean
The view of the ocean
sometimes is so still.
The color of the water and
sky come together beautifully as one.
Other times the motion and
waves in the ocean are not still.
Pounding the rocks and sand
over and over without fail.
After big storms when the
ocean has been disturbed,
the waves coming ashore are
filled with fizzy bubbles galore.
Dismal rainy days of gray make
the sight of the ocean a sad
lonely vision where there is sadness
in each wave hitting upon the shore.
These changes of the ocean are
like the changes in our life.
We, like the ocean, have beauty, rage,
and gloom but its all apart of life.

merry christmas!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
very beautifully written poem and
there certainly are sexual undercurrents
running through the motion of the ocean
waves. However, when reading this in
context with other things you have written,
I'm wondering if you meant it that way or not.
But then, perhaps, you did as you do seem to
have many varied ways of expressing yourself
with your verses.
Either way, . . . . sexual or not . . . .
this is a very lovely verse and I look forward
to reading whatever you share with us next.
Happy Holdiays,
