Do You Use The Internet Radio?

I love my internet radio. I did not used to care much for it when I had dial up. Now that I have DSL, the internet radio is not broken up or unpleasent to listen too.

 I can honestly say that I love my internet radio. My favorite station is KZion.  It is relaxing kind of music and now they are playing a lot of Chirstmas music as well. I just love it and wanted to share the link with you.

The great thing about internet radio is that it is FREE. Everyone loves to use things that are Free.

I don't have an actual literal radio that received computer signals, but I do listen to various radio stations by logging into their websites and clicking on their various radio players. My two favourites are the BBC World service (bbcworldservice.com) and AM 740 (am740.ca).

Can't remember what the hey I was drinking on December 16, 2007, but it must have been something good, and I must have had way too much of it. LOL But an actual radio that logs onto the internet would be a nice thing to invent. Then we could have one in the car, in the bedroom, in places where we may not have a radio, to receive stations on line.

Yes I do. I don't really have a favorite station. I like a wide variety of music....so it really depends on my mood. Right now I'd say hard rock and rebelling againgst parental figures would be on my list. (my mom's visiting)

I hope I never have to go back to dial up again. LOL I hated it. Now DSL is great and quick. Sure hope you get DSL soon. You will love it

I don't use internet radio. I usally go to www.promosquad.com or bigcountryhit.com on these 2 places you can listin to music and rate them for free cds,dvds,and other items like ipods and gift cards. This has helped me out with Christmas some this year. They both usally have a lot of the newest songs on both of them.

I would if I had the time but I listen to Laura's music and read her articles about music here on Gather. The rest of the time I am just coping (see my story on teenagers and ice storms for info about "coping")

I used to listen to internet radio when I had a private office. Now, I stick with my iPod because I'm too mobile to use internet radio - plus I **USE** my internet connection extremely heavily, and I notice the slowing bandwidth when I have internet radio on.

i listen to podcasts.. &i've listened to one online radio station.. but that's cause one of my favorite stations for alternative music from my area got replaced by rap music.. &they have it online now.. but i don't listen to it anymoree.

I am on the slowest dial-up in the world so i can not use it or even look at videos. It sucks but is part of living a very rural life.
I use it at the office sometimes instead of my radio. Station depends on what I'm in the mood for.

I listen online (mostly folkalley.com or xpn.org) because I can listen to music I can't get terrestrially. Folk Alley even has a Christmas stream (I love holiday music). I want to love Pandora, but it's all odd because of rights issues. The Beatles stream and REM stream don't have any Beatles or REM - just music I don't like that the figure-outer says I should love.

It is a station that is based on the Music Genome Project. You enter a few of your favorites and it will automatically match similar styles. You actually create your own station and can share it with friends as well.
